If I had to guess he will go back to coaching DB's

Have not heard about Woolf. Just curious who on the former staff is being retained by coach Engler

Funny Arvin tried to get on with Warner and couldn't get hired so he hooked up with Boone. He is a good coach and they will definately open it up. He will also develop several QB's.

Is sure hope so, they have really been playing some great basketball

This is a really good hire for them. Tim has done a great job at Meade and will do the same at CH

From what I hear the Super has a buddy he wants to get it and taste the success and not let it be Frazier. It is an absolute shame this stuff goes on. I think it just shows the lack of loyalty in this generation of leaders in our school systems. They are only out for themselves and use their power to get what they want or manipulate the system for personal gain. Best of luck to Coach Frazier and his son.

I am not a fan of either team but Davis DID do a chin up on the dunk. Now someone was underneath him and I don't think he should have received the T, but he did pull himself up. Although it was an impressive dunk. I did not think Davis took over the game like I felt he should have. They just allowed Lex. Cath to claw back into it. It was a great game to watch from a fan perspective.

None of these teams will make any noise in the 9th region. But they have made the districts rather fun and interesting

Absolutely. I looked up Scott County and Meade Co. It is not so much balanced but enough to keep you honest

Passing the ball does not make a winning season. Don't think that just coming in and throwing a system at kids will equal success. Remember the kids have to be able to execute it. Coach Engler will not have one pass attempt next year. It takes Offense, defense, and special teams to win a game and if they focus too much on the passing game then it could cause trouble in the other areas. They have talent but remember it is how you put that talent in the right pace to help you win.

Very good point. TE is valuable to Engler. He will put the guys where they need to be to be successful. Just hope mommy and daddy like where he puts them and supports it.

How about several different OC's over the past few years and this year they took a DB coach who had never called an offensive play. Great coach and was not going to be the OC after 1 year on the job if Bryson stayed but yet the defense has been the strong suit of Ryle and they have had the same man in charge of that for 10 years.

Good for the coach and too bad that these kids don't get it. In today's society kids think it is okay to do what they want without consequences and if you don't want to conform, remember it is a privilege to play EXTRA- curricular sports. Best of luck to Raceland the rest of the season

SO if all coaches are staying if that is what I am gathering, then why not give the job to Woolf and hire him the best Offensive Coordinator out there. Makes no sense to me. Maybe he was not being kept by Coach Perry at Lex Cath and needed a new job colonel ? Cant imagine after 24 years in private he is looking to all of a sudden get into KY PRS system.

Not to mention that the baseball coach is safe because he has an assistant named Jim that also happens to be the AD. Sad process and state of affairs at Ryle.

Totally agree with you EXCEPT he did make a commitment to a bunch of young men and probably told them how they were going to be on top if they bought in to his program. That is my only issue with it all. Better yourself if you want but remember this is high school football not the NFL and I can't see him making more money at Boyle as far as pay scales go. You are definitely wrong. I know who it is but will not undermine the process. I will say it is an offensive coach but am not impressed with the hire. Job shoukr have went to Woolf. All I will say to the new head coach, don't let the TCM run you but I think this is exactly what will happen

I can say that many parents over the past couple of years have done this in all sports from all the info I have received. A shame, teach your child to work harder. If he is good he will see the field period. I mean this team did go to state finals in 2007 and state semis in 2010. So the defensive coordinator of these teams had nothing to do with this?? Mommies and daddies don't want their poor Johnny to be pushed but yet want him to be the star or want him to play this position because he was great in youth league. What a joke. A new coach will not change these peoples mentality. Woolf should have been the choice but oh well best of luck I guess.
