I think Holmes don't want to draw NewCath or Cooper. The nightmare would be for Holmes.

The worst thing about this thread is that it was started by someone who is supposed to represent NCC. FYI your not just supporting the football team when you wear blue and gold you represent the school, an what it is to be a BRED! To be making remarks regarding basketball players an coaches who are having a very successful season is just plain selfish on your part. Who are you to determine what any of theese young men will accomplish. If you are that concerned about it go speak with with the coaches, parents an player. Im sure you see them often. It really shouldnt be that hard to understand, if someone decides not to play a certain sport it just means they just don't want to play. It isn't that hard to figure out.

Heard tonight that Drew McDonald is playing with the 16u Team.

I think what Money is trying to say is Newcath didn't play their best game last night and still won by 9 could of been by more. Looks like Ryle played really good and played hard. Newcath is going to get everybodies best effort just like Holmes will get it from teams and Cooper ect........ When Holmes lost by 1 to Scott everyone didn't say man Holmes better not play like that they won't make it very far in region. Highlands beat Scott last night. Newcath and Holmes know from here on out you have to bring it each game or it could be their last.

If I can recall the game against Newcath and Cooper. Cooper didn't have 2 starters play that game but Newcath was in foul trouble the whole game and had most of their starters out most of the game and the Newcath subs really step it up and won that game.

Lawnboy. Remember it's a team not just one person that makes this team so good.

Newcath, Highlands, Covcath, Cooper, and Ryle are my top 5. Newcath being #1 to start out. Cain and Bartels top pitchers for Newcath. They are loaded with seniors. Who takes the spots for Shortstop, Centerfield, and Left Field. That's where they lost position from last years seniors. They should be very good.

Newcath didn't get blown out by T. 3 point game with 6 min left get your facts straight before you post stuff. There is no team in the 9 region that would come close to T. Newcath is the only team that would keep it close cause of their size. IMO

If Holmes plays like that in the first half no one comes close to them in the region. Wow. But only won 3.

Like I said in a earlier thread that. The Holmes game against Covcath and Holy Cross is more important then Holmes playing Newcath or Covcath playing Newcath or even Holy Cross playing Newcath. Just because of seeding. IMO

You may be right about Ncc not wanting to play Holmes in regional. But if I was Holmes I would worry about beating CovCath and Holy Cross first so they don't have to face either team first rd of the District. IMO

Newcath will be one of the top teams in the 9th region. The McDonald boy is a load and has great moves posting up. Bueter and Seibert are going to be the senior leadership that newcath will need this year. Bueter can handle the ball and has a great shot. Seibert is athletic and long and looks like he's been working on his game this summer say him play a few times in aau. Schulte boy is long and athletic as well goes about 6'8 now him and McDonald should work good together. Saw the Pangallo boy play over the summer he is a true point guard has great handles is very athletic and has a nice jump shot. If he runs the point it will free up Bueter and Seibert for shots and also you can tell Pangallo and McDonald have been playing together for a long time. Depout and the Franzen boy will be a important part of the Newcath team this year as well IMO.

What game were you watching then he batted 2 in line up.

Congrats to Newcath on Back to Back regional titles. Didn't realize that Newcath are mostly Jr's they will be good next year thier Freshman team won the region also with some stud players on that team looks like the Breds will keep rolling with baseball. Wanted to Congrats Highlands on a great season also the future is bright for the Birds.

Why would you say that. Like I said before its usually the two teams that are playing good at the end of the season could beat anybody. Highlands in the past couple weeks has been playing great baseball and Newcath what can you say about a program that's been in the finals of the 9 region finals in baseball 3 out of the past 5 yrs. It all boils down to this its hard to win the 9 region in Baseball and Basketball. Even though Covcath was rated #1 doesnt mean they were going to win it every year. Its all about match ups and pitching. Out of the 4 teams that are left they are playing good at the right time. Dixie and Ryle seem like they are always in the hunt in Baseball. Highlands this year have been playing good baseball for the past 2 weeks. Newcath is the school that surprises me every year with Baseball and Basketball cause they are a Single A school they are always in contension with winning the 9 region in baseball and basketball they must get everything they can get out of their kids I always respect that. Congrats to the birds. Seems like Highlands is going to be good the next few years in Baseball good to hear that. It could be a wake up call for Newcath. Good Luck to both teams in the Region. IMO sometimes losing a District finals gives you a better Draw in the Region

I think he played freshmen last year and will be a soph this upcoming year?

Heard from a friend Ncc won 7 5. Who pitch for Ncc and it looks like they got the best of Mr. Bo. Congrats to Ncc and Dixie.

How is Newcath going to be without the Hightchew boy at QB? A buddy of mine from Holy Cross son played Freshmen last year said they had a Stud QB at the freshmen level who was very athletic and could throw the ball very good. Also I saw that Newcath plays 6A schools in Northern Kentucky would they ever schedule Boone County it seems like they havent played in years. Just a thought

Thoughts on Newcath how will they be losing their QB and how will they rebound from last year lost to Holy Cross in Playoffs. I know they have a tranfer in from Arizona and I also heard they have QB who was a Freshmen last year that was very good will he get any playing time I know losing the Hightchew boy is going to be tough to fill his shoes.
