  1. Congratulations to the Rams. Sayre didn’t lay down and it was not a running clock like most thought! Congratulations to the Spartans on a great year!
  2. https://fan.hudl.com/United-States/KY/Lexington/organization/34710/Sayre-School/schedule?date=2023-11-12T05%3A00%3A00.000Z&range=Week&s=U2NoZWR1bGVFbnRyeVB1YmxpY1N1bW1hcnk2NTRmMTAxZjVjNWQxOGMzNGU4YzgyYzE%3D
  3. 5 point game - Boyle County 4 point game - Lexington Christian Academy 3 point game - Male 2 point game - Ryle 1 point game - Hart County
  4. Knights Roll! Regional Championship in the first year for Coach Baisch and staff! Give these guys some time I think this program is going to be on the rise!
  5. That would rearrange some things for the Raceland/ Sayre winner though. Instead of going to KCD they could have to make the trip to Pikeville correct?
  6. I like Campbellsville but I don’t think NCC lays down! From what I have seen I think Campbellsville is the sleeper in 1A.
  7. Coach Jones appears to have these boys ready! I am taking KCD in the second half! Ludlow could make this one interesting with their physical play! Does anyone know how this would shake up the semi finals if Ludlow were to pull off the upset?
  8. Flyers will be too physical for Bardstown with the speed to match! Flyers roll through another one! Running clock!
  9. Darn, was looking forward to seeing a Boyle tailgate this Friday! I can only imagine how packed this game will be! This is a championship game in round 3!
  10. I think we see a different station team on Friday! The question is do they have enough to stop this on fire Ryle team! My heart says station my head says Ryle ! Your heart will leave you heartbroken so give me Ryle!
  11. This Fairdale team has struggled this year and seems to finally be buying in to what the staff is trying to teach. Unfortunately, I don’t believe it’s enough at this point. This BG team appears to be firing on all cylinders outside of the late loss to St X. BG rolls in this one! BG - 42 Fairdale- 14
  12. I have seen many take a dig at the schedule but when you have about 300 kids K-12 and you have years that are up and down in numbers you can’t lock into a two year contract with the top teams in the state. Raceland gave highlands a solid game last year but got beat 40-0 this year and I don’t believe that is competitive play! Sayre is just in its 4th year on a varsity schedule and I believe some forget that just last year they were in a district with Pikeville and Hazard. How many coaches over reach in scheduling and it doesn’t allow for a program to withstand? Coach Pennington looks to be building a program to withstand those low years and to still be competitive in these early years of this program. If the Spartans find a way to upset the Rams are we still going to be talking about strength of schedule or will we finally talk about 11 vs 11 and how teams matchup? Strength of schedule was the issue vs Bethlehem and Paris and Sayre handled both of them pretty easily. I also need someone to help me with an history lesson and understanding why Raceland fans talk like they are Pikeville? Raceland has yet to win the big one and has only been to the show once according the history books. Sounds to me like there is some worry going up against a team that’s only 7 years existing as a program! Pikeville has won 7 times and has proven they are a force in Class A just because they escaped with a 7-6 victory doesn’t mean that Pikeville isn’t going to be sitting on the other side waiting for the winner of this game.
  13. I use that game because it is hard to judge growth for Corbin based off the games to follow! They beat JC easily but the following were blowout wins. How do you gauge growth of a team when the schedule presents itself as soft! This has been the issue for other teams on this site people focus so heavily on the strength of schedule. I am sure Corbin has improved but just as you stated that it was earlier in the season Douglass has improved since as well! Boyle has beat LCA, Scott Co, Lex Cath, and Douglass at this point. All of those teams have been considered top tier in their perspective classes. To this point Corbin has beat Catholic and Douglass the later part of this schedule is soft. The theatrics of the NIL deals and things may fool some but there is still 48 mins of football to be played and I just don’t see them beating Boyle at this point!
  14. The one game that stands out to me is the common game with FD! Corbin struggled while Boyle rolled! Coach Haddix is looking to add some more hardware to that heavy hand! I think Boyle wins this one in a dog fight! Boyle- 21 Corbin- 17
  15. I said it at the beginning of the season and l will say it again. I believe Cov Cath is the team to beat! Cov Cath rolls! Cov Cath - 35 JC - 14
  16. Douglass was able to matchup with the big name schools last year I don’t see it this year! I think Male is the best team in 6A and it’s theirs to lose! Male - 42 FD- 24
  17. I’ll be THAT guy! Give me the Spartans in an upset! The Spartans find a way to get it done late! Sayre - 38 Raceland- 35
  18. They didn’t believe you! Make sure you tell those guys on rivals too!
  19. This game could change the semifinals. If Bethlehem were to win it could send the winner of Raceland/Paris/Sayre on the road to Pikeville.
  20. 5 point game - Hart County 4 point game - Bell County 3 point game - Ryle 2 point game - Union County 1 point game - Kentucky Country Day
  21. I am taking Lawrence still puzzled about this Rockastle team and how good they really are. LC- 28 Rock- 24
