The Commodores of Tates Creek (1-2) will make the about 5-mile trip across town to take on the Broncos of Frederick Douglass (0-3) the game is a 6:30pm kickoff. Both teams are coming off losses the Commodores a 41-24 loss at home to South Oldham. The Broncos suffered a tough loss at home to Manuel 28-21. This will be the 9th meeting all time vs. the two programs. The Broncos have won all 8 of the previous meetings with 7 of the 8 games being running clocks. This should be a much-needed break in the schedule after opening at Highlands, Trinity, and home with Manuel and their next two at Corbin and at Male. This is the first time in school history that the Broncos have had a 3-game losing streak.

Tates Creek QB got hurt late in the 4Q against South Oldham. Back up did not look good at all. If their starter plays I think they can get on the board for 2-3 scores but this is a get right game for the Douglass offense. 49-14 FD.

Despite playing one of the toughest early schedules in the state I think the Broncos find themselves in the win column this week.

Douglass took the kickoff back for a touchdown to start the game. The Broncos led 20-0 after the first quarter. It looks like the Broncos are on their way to their 8 running clock vs. Creek in this their 9th all time meeting. They just scored to start the 2nd quarter the two-point conversion failed Douglass now leads 26-0 with still 10:20 left in the first half.
