I only felt it will be close because of already seeing this team. You should as a staff understand your strengths and weaknesses based on the scrimmage. -
Scott County at Boyle County Predictions/Updates

In the game you felt they were tested in though he had 8 Carries 118 Yards 3 TD. What is stopping him from doing that tonight? -
Scott County at Boyle County Predictions/Updates
Hard Work replied to WestDanville's topic in KY Football (High School)
That has been the issue since the whole "King of the 859!" Year. Douglass has had more athleticism. Boyle is in the same position now. Quisenberry is different and I don't know if there is a matchup for him across the line of scrimmage. -

Another great take! Is Scott athletic enough to slow this game from turning into a FD/SC type matchup the past couple of years? -

I don't think it was a physical test, no. I don't think any team that has a Tony Franklin/Spread system-based offense is physical. That is strictly my personal opinion. Coach Mckee has had success by putting teams in the phone booth and being more physical in the past. I am not saying Boyle is soft by any means, but that style of play can alter the game. Ask the teams that had to play Belfry when they were winning state championships without throwing a pass. If Scott can play that 3-4 yards and a cloud of dust ball game tonight can Boyle be physical in the phone booth is what I am asking? -
Mercer County at Danville Predictions/Updates

I would have to agree. Unfortunately, I don't see a game on the ADS schedule that this team can win and that is sad considering the rich tradition of title town. Mercer- 56 Danville -6 -
Owensboro Catholic at Owensboro Predictions/Updates
Hard Work replied to DevilMayCare's topic in KY Football (High School)
I absolutely think this rivalry is going to be a dog fight tonight. Owensboro has taken some tough losses but I think the close game with CAL to open the season and the loss to Bowling Green doesn't give us an accurate picture of who this team is. I am rolling with the Aces though. Catholic- 28 Senior- 24 -

You and me both. I think we will see some quality football across the bluegrass tonight! -
Lloyd at Bethlehem Predictions/Updates
Hard Work replied to DRKARK's topic in KY Football (High School)
I think we find out who Bethlehem is tonight. I don't know if they are in the same ballpark as New Cath but I think they will have a good run in 1A. Lloyd appears to be running on all cylinders. I like Lloyd easy. Lloyd - 42 Bethlehem - 14 -

Highlands is making their way back to what we know Highlands to be. I think they win by a FG. Highlands -38 Ryle- 35 -

Wondering if Scott is physical enough to make this game interesting? Boyle has yet to be tested and I expect this to be a test of how physical they are up front. I believe Quisenberry has another crazy outing and Boyle runs away in the second half. Boyle -42 SC- 21 -

Frankfort at Rockcastle County (Cancelled)
Hard Work replied to J. Peterman's topic in KY Football (High School)
They do have a team and won the conference last year but unfortunately lost their two best athletes to another district. The feeder has to be able to maintain these kids. -
Frankfort at Rockcastle County (Cancelled)
Hard Work replied to J. Peterman's topic in KY Football (High School)
Can someone educate us on the last time Frankfort had to Forfeit? Any time you have to surrender this early in the season it doesn’t look good for a team or their season! Hoping Coach Davis can get it turned around for the kids! Unfortunately, this is what happens when a group of individuals believe they know what’s best but don’t know the logistics of a program or what truly is required to hold it together! Good Luck to the Dirty 30 the rest of the way! -
KHSAA rules on Somerset's controversial week one game
Hard Work replied to 16thBBall Fan's topic in KY Football (High School)
I like that the KHSAA took action against the officials and are holding them accountable. Would have liked to see a different ruling for the game. Somerset would have received an RPI boost with this win. Could they have counted this as a tie and both teams receive .5 for the RPI versus one team taking a loss?
