Second round of the playoffs are here. Hazard will be on the road to take on the 8-1 Williamsburg Yellow Jackets. Williamsburg defeated Lynn Camp on Thursday night 50-6. Hazard played the Harlan Green Dragons in the first round winning 52-0, giving the Bulldogs its 4th shutout of the season. 
Williamsburg holds the playoff edge going back to 2004 5-4. Williamsburg won last year in the first round 60-12 over the Bulldogs. Hazard will be looking for payback in this year.

Who wins this 2nd round Class 1A matchup? Does Hazard get the road playoff win? Does Williamsburg extend the series 6-4 in the playoffs?

Clay County. Hazard beat Clay last week.

Williamsburg's schedule has been pretty weak but they've taken care of business against everyone except Clay County. Having the game at home is an advantage for the Yellowjackets but I think Hazard is too much here.

Losing Gavin Johnson on the year for Hazard hurts. 

I can't figure this one out which makes me think it should be close and could go either way. Am I missing some X-factor on either side? In 1A a stand-out athlete can be THE difference maker. Should I be looking for someone to break out and lead the way for either team? My guess is with the home team having the crowd behind them getting the win.

Coach Chandler has this Hazard team breathing new life. Williamsburg has only one loss in Week 2 to Clay County. I do believe this is going to be a battle. 

I think this is the most important game in the Class A playoffs. This game will determine a lot of next-round matchups including if Williamsburg travels to Sayre or do we see a regional matchup of Sayre vs Pikeville if Hazard can find a way to win. 

I like Hazard in this one but I do believe this will be a potential Overtime contest.
