Pikeville at Christian Academy of Louisville Predictions/Updates
As far as I know all varsity players are healthy. In the LC, Martin Co, Pikeville scrimmage, a Freshman had a collar bone broken. Understandably, he's out for the season.

Pikeville at Christian Academy of Louisville Predictions/Updates
To be honest, I just hope the Panthers come out of this game injury free. That's a huge task taking on the class 3-A champs at their place. CAL has talent, experience, speed, and numbers all over the field. If the Panthers can escape the injury bug it will pay dividends come late October. One thing is for sure, Pikeville will not go down without giving it all they have and then some. May not be enough, but CAL will know they didn't just lay down.

Pikeville at Christian Academy of Louisville Predictions/Updates
Don't know why you would want CAL to beat Pikeville so bad Watusi. You must have a deep grudge against your home Co. football team. Anytime I've ever heard Pikeville fans discuss Belfry opponents it was just the opposite; we were always supporting the Pirates. Showing your true colors, I suppose.

Calling My Shot: Raceland 15-0 in 2025
With what the Rams have returning, I think this season they have the best shot at going 15-0 in as many years as I can remember. Only time will tell and the question should be a little more easier to answer after week three. Pikeville lost some bodies up front, along with the QB Isaac Duty, RBs Brenden Anthony, Blake Caudill, and others. That was some pretty good production. But that was last season. Look for a totally different offence this season. In scrimmages and practice, the D looks to be ahead of the O and return some pretty good athletes all together. Roster will be on the thin side and depth will have to be built. Just don't know how effective this team will be this season, but we'll see. Facing the likes of state champ CAL just right out of the gate will be a huge task at their place. The important thing will be to avoid injuries. In a couple of weeks after the CAL game, the Panthers welcome the Rams for what should be an interesting game, and questions for both teams should be answered. Rams 15-0 this season? Again, only time will tell.

2025 Pikeville Panthers
- It hot!! Coldest game you ever played in/watched?
Without a doubt the coldest High School football game I've ever attended was the 1987 semi state game between Pikeville and Beechwood at the Tigers home field. Don't remember the tempt, but it had to be below zero, plus the wind coming off the Ohio river dint help the situation. Never been to a colder game since. It was stated by the sports writer of the Williamson Daily News that his ballpoint pen actually froze up during the contest and he had to go on memory from that point on. True story.- 2025 Belfry Pirates
Agree, and complete breakdown of this season's Pirates. This should be their year and what better way for coach Varney to start his tenure with the success that looms ahead.- 2025 Pikeville Panthers
Exactly. He's all Pikeville and wouldn't trade him for anyone. If anyone can get the best out of his players, its him. The man has a great supporting cast too.?- 2025 Pikeville Panthers
Love the look?- 2025 Pikeville Panthers
- 2025 Pikeville Panthers
With the schedule Pikeville is looking at this season, and taking into account the amount of players lost to graduation, and two good linemen transferring to Johnson central, I really don't think a better finish is in the future this season for the Panthers. Pikeville has some real good young talent but we won't see the benefits of that this season. Jmo. Talented Freshmen and Sophomores are just not going to get it when you look at the out of district and upcoming rigorous schedule. A new quarterback that's very good for the style he's adept at (totally different from Isaac Mcnamee or Isaac Duty). Shorter in height, a very proficient passer, and very quick. Should be a totally different look than what we've seen for the past eight or ten years. Give this team another year or two and they will be back. These Freshmen coming in just won the eighth grade championship and were undefeated against some very competition. Going back to this season, both sides of the line looks to be a weak area. The jury will be out this season, especially early on, but hopefully this team will look better come playoff time.- 2025 Pikeville Panthers
Next man up.- Favorite Rivalries
Pikeville/Belfry has always been a great rivalry and looks to continue til judgment day. Good benefit for both teams.- 2025 Bracken County Polar Bears
Hearing they have an excellent RB returning this season, and Looking forward to watching him go up against the Pikeville D. - It hot!! Coldest game you ever played in/watched?
