Has anyone thought about coaches not wanting a bye in the playoffs? I know bye weeks are tough and taking one at the end of the year especially if you are starting to peak can potentially disrupt your flow.

I will never understand why Trimble plays up in 2A instead of playing in 1A.

It’s unfortunate and a low point for the program.

Fight was among their own team is what I have heard.

I hate RPI. Think it’s bad for football. Hurts teams that may have Cinderella year.

Eminence is suffering from the Super getting to involved with football and running off a young coach that was building a program.

Flyers are 4-5 on season. Their 4 wins have came against teams with a combined record of 11-26.

What I mean those pre-district games prepare you. FCHS built a schedule to prep them for a long run.

I believe Flyers win out. Forget the non district games they are all scrimmages. District Games matter.

I think Flyers look more explosive with Claudio at QB.

Panthers are 3-1 and getting better each week.

Can anyone verify that Western Hills had some players not dress but watched from the Student Section. Appears some WHHS parents not happy about it.

Seeding/RPI is the worst. KHSAA should stop and leave football alone.

Wing T can’t make up the 29 point loss from last season. Did Scott Co get some transfers or something else from last season? Just asking because Franklin pretty has same team from last season. It may not be 29 point victory, but I think Flyers win by 2 TD’s.

Trimble County should reach out to Johnny Poynter.

If a student moves to the next county. The county where the student has moved has two school systems. Does he have to attend the school district that he moved in? example moves from Mercer County to Boyle County. Lives in the Boyle District but enrolled in Danville schools. Does this make him sit?

My issue is the KHSAA doesn’t enforce their own rules. I can name several instances that their decisions are not fairly enforced. Meaning 1 kid gets ruled eligible and another kid same situation gets ruled ineligible. They have a bigger problem on how they enforce their own rules.

Interesting hire.

The indoor Facility conversation did start prior to the hire of the new coach. Based on what I am hearing he is involved a lot more with a lot of the planning than the previous coach. As for the indoor being football only.. I don’t know any school that could say that. But based on location let’s say football would/could have primary use. But the entire facility will be much more than just football.

Based on what I have been told he has been hiring a staff. Building relationships with current players. Appears to have good numbers in the weight room. Also been working with the AD and outgoing Super to get an indoor sports complex built.

Team that travels has the option. Coin toss a good of 6 minutes.

There has been conversations going since last fall. Recently there was an article in the Newspaper. Everyone I spoken with believes it will get done.

I see this could very well be long term. There is a commitment to building and indoor practice facility. The school just did a $5 million upgrade to their gym. Foley had a 13 year run that was as good as anyone could have asked for at a Class A school.
