  1. I can confirm this.
  2. Not bad at all I would say if they could add some additional seating closer to the floor I think it would be great. Sayre is missing two of their bigs which would be a major difference for them. Also coming off an intense game the other night vs Station and trying to play at 8:30 am isn't exactly a recipe for your best product. Station fell to Scott last night, I would say that game was very taxing to both teams.
  3. I never thought I would see the day when Nick Saban walked away from the game but our game is changing drastically. I honestly think the popularity contest and parents at the high school level have become too much for some guys. All of the fence row John Maddens tend to partner up and run coaches out of town because they think they can do it better when over half can't even qualify for a job and don't want to put in the hours required to run a program. Guys put in many hours and a lot of effort and now it almost seems like the "Game" is no longer about football.
  4. I have never seen anyone play well in that arena. I watched this one online and Sayre shot themselves in the foot as they did the other night vs Station. Technical at the end and you have a chance to make it a one-point game but miss some key Free Throws and then you turn the ball over on that possession. Also not a good shot at all to end the game. Newport is a tough team but I wouldn't count this Sayre team out they are very athletic and if they were healthy I would have seen them winning this one.
  5. I’ll agree with that! He’s one of the best I’ve seen dissect the game!
  6. As a coach who is relocating, I imagine you want to bring the right people with you as well as have funding to run a program similar to the one you have come from. Is it possible Pulaski is lacking some of the resources that Burns may be used to?
  7. I have seen an article that is saying the school is prepared to name Ethan Atchley as the head coach! Confirming the validity of this article!
  8. Honestly shocked this one hasn’t been filled!
  9. That is a tall order sir! You don't think the boys at Male will have anything to say about this?
  10. I couldn't agree more. "They" have an overachieving expectation. He just won the district back to back in 21' and 22'.
  11. A little luck is always involved in a title run. I think having a freshman qb and winning it all says a lot about your program and the future. I like them to run late into the playoffs again if not win it all.
  12. From the press release posted it seems as if they feel that this program should be at a different level. I would question a few people if that were truly what they believe. Rome wasn't built in a day!
  13. Any chance Kozerski could appear in this one?
  14. I am making the call no matter who is in the pool. He has done an amazing job at Brossart.
  15. IF and I'm speaking strictly from my own opinion, but if I am Scott High or Holy Cross or any other NKY team with an opening I am calling this guy! No matter where you are in your process I am at least going to ask.
  16. Anyone know the reason?
  17. Definitely shocked to see this news! Coach Wiggins was doing a solid job with this program.
  18. We didn’t get that from the name at all!
  19. Boyle is probably 1 in a lot of classes. With Q returning I think this crew is going to be hard to beat. PT only graduates 10 Seniors off of a very athletic roster I think we see them again late in the playoffs trying to make a run at this one.
  20. Definitely think there are some better options at 9/10. Holy Cross (Louisville) would definitely get the bump over Frankfort. Not sure how they got to 9 after going 4-8 last season. At the 10 spot I think you have some teams that deserve a shot in the top 10.. Ludlow, Newport, Middlesboro, and I never sleep on Williamsburg.
  21. I believe there are more variables into a job these days due to the dynamic of KY HS Football. On the surface I am going to say yes. Somerset appears to be headed in the right direction with administrative support and support from the community. Somerset has some really nice facilities and I believe they are only beginning now that they have hired Clevenger. Now you factor in our "Precious" RPI system I would believe that playing in 2A has many perks over playing in 5A. I have said this all along, but I think the system is flawed and needs to be reworked. 5A can only gain real RPI pts from playing 5A and 6A schools. There is no benefit from playing out of state because you only receive a .500 win. If you sit in a lower class, you hold the keys especially when you play those lower-level programs from the higher classes.
  22. Coach Chandler would be a great addition. Another up and coming coach!
  23. They could also just have the mindset to wait to see what shakes out after the first of the year. I can imagine we have not seen the finish line when it comes to open positions in the state. I still think this has to be a homerun hire with this difficult district and the construction taking place on 65S.
  24. Definitely thought there would be a lot more talk and traction on this one. Seems to be very quiet! Wondering if an internal hire is coming!
