Barren County won district titles in 1984 and 1988. They beat Oldham County in the first round of the playoffs in 1992, to this day their only playoff win.

Even though I don't think they should have fired the last guy, I think this is a good hire.

I have known coach myers for a long long time.  Someone I have the most respect for!  he is another great coach from the Ron Finley Coaching Fraternity of Campbellsville Univ!

I believe he was a triple option guy when he was at russellville.  So the wing t maynot be coming with him from glascow!

Sounds like pretty positive vibes.  With this schedule they should be able to build some confidence and perhaps really get in the district race.  Hosting a First Round game may be possible if the chemistry comes together.  Good luck Barren County and Coach Myers!
