  1. Interesting spot for the Rockets. Program definitely needs to get someone invested because it will take time to rebuild and restructure. I am hoping they can find someone to bring this program back to life!
  2. I think that would be a great grab if they can get em. Some times guys are just figuring out life and family changes can cause that change of pace. I think this job has potential and would love to see them land a good hire!
  3. This was a quick turnaround for the ads. Could Kelvin Turner be on his way back?
  4. This is the game the Spartans have wanted. Just over a year ago Raceland put the Spartans out in the Regional Championship! Sayre gets revenge and wins its first state championship!
  5. Dear Strength of Schedule Committee, The Spartans are running the gauntlet! Sincerely, Hard Work
  6. The stars aligned for this matchup! I think this is one of the best semi final matchups across the state! Clay Hayden is unbelievable and definitely a different kind of kid! When I saw him throw the ball after leaving his feet to complete the pass and still absorb the hit I knew he was different! This LCA team is different from most! Their run game has improved getting away from a finesse offense and style of play and being more run dominant! Would love to see a dog fight here til the end with a sprinkle of overtime! This one has me scratching my head but I think Coach Volker and the boys want to get back to Kroger field! I’ll take beechwood in a last second thriller!
  7. The Bardstown faithful seem quiet today. I was hoping to see a much closer contest from what was said to be an improved team from last year. Anyone have details on what the difference was?
  8. Rain definitely played a factor last night for Pennington. Rain all but one qtr and wind in that game. Also wouldn’t have believed that Sayre would have the run success they did last night Slabaugh was a force! Everyone thinks it’s just Pennington and Coffman but Sayre has several weapons. Would love to see a Sayre vs Raceland rematch at Kroger Field.
  9. PT is firing on all cylinders! I expect to see them at Kroger Field!
  10. Wow definitely shocked by this one!
  11. Flyers are a physical team! Interested to see them in the semi match up against Cov Cath.
  12. Didn’t expect this one to be close . Hats off to Coach Wiggins on a great first year at Newport!
  13. Very well could have been 28-6 at Half!
  14. I just want the strength of schedule Committee to hop on and see the score!
  15. Field is in good shape. Better than last week vs Paris.
  16. Any chance of a Jaggers return?
  17. There is no mystery to how good Pikeville is. We can throw RPI out of the window and Pikeville is still going to be a contender year in and year out! Tonight will be a similar situation to last year’s Raceland game for the Spartans. This game will come down to if Sayre has the guys to neutralize Pikeville’s size and physicality! If the Spartans can find a way to get off the field on defense and get a few stops this game could get very interesting! I look forward to seeing this contest tonight and I will forever love a good underdog story! Give me the Spartans in a dog fight!
  18. If in analyzing Bardstown’s schedule I would think their best wins are John Hardin and ACS. The lost to Meade is what I think is the tell all of this team. Meade a 5 win team to hold you to 6 points is concerning when you’re going up against a physical and aggressive team like the Flyers! If the track finds a way to get dry I believe the flyers get a running clock! If it is a wet track I think Bardstown hangs around early and the flyers take off late. FC would have to have a complete meltdown to lose this one and I don’t see it.
  19. 94 straight touchdowns before he threw his first one.
  20. Luke Pennington’s streak comes to an end tonight I believe unofficially it is 95 TD’s without a pick! Sayre was tested tonight and responded.
  21. Can someone please give a brief summary? Christmas came early!
  22. I’m saying it and I’m standing behind it.. you’re telling me Atwell, Bailey, Or James aren’t comfortable with the talent pool that play in front of them? Sayre lost all but one starter on the entire offensive line and he is still playing comfortably. He played Paris and Raceland last year and failed to throw a pick despite the upscale of competition. At some point we are going to start comparing apples to apples. If Pennington is behind O Cath’s front 5 he would be plenty comfortable and putting up the same numbers if not more! 23-1 92 TD’s 0 INT’s 73% Completion Percentage 4,713 Yards Let me also add last year he never played a full game until district play. These numbers are impressive!
  23. NCC will run the show in this one. I don't see this as a close contest at all.
  24. Give me the Polar Bears in an upset! Tarter for 150 on the ground.
