I was very impressed with Bracken County Defense as they sat back in a zone against Beechwood and was still able to stop the run. Somerset has a much more power type running so anxious to see how BC D can hold up. I will be rooting for Bracken since they are in Beechwood’s district. 

How far of a drive is it from Bracken to Somerset?

Trusty Google Maps says 134 miles (2hrs and 28 mins) high school to high school!

I figured it’d be a little longer than that. But I guess most of it will be open road though.

I can tell you if the players don’t get bus sick in the first 20 miles of Route#19 then the next 114 miles is a piece of cake.

This should be a very good game. I don’t know which one to pick, good luck to both teams.

So hoping the Polar Bears get past Somerset and advance to the Fort.  Think Tiger fans will enjoy seeing 2-way Jr RB Dalton Tarter, 1,900 rushing yds (9.8 yds per carry), 30 rushing TDs, 79 tackles, 16 TFL, 3 sacks and 6 interceptions (5 of which are a state leading pick-6).

Can't happen.

Round 3 matchups go by KHSAA RPI on the east half of 2A. If Beechwood wins, they are the 1 seed. If Bracken County wins, they are the 2 or 3 seed. Beechwood will play the 4 seed. 

The only way Beechwood and Bracken County could play again would be in the championship game.

To anyone from Bracken County going to the game, Somerset plays at Meece Middle School, not the high school. They have a really nice athletic complex.
