Atherton (2-0) travels to Mercer County (0-2) this Friday night.

Atherton is coming off of their second straight blow out win 44-0 over Southern for their second straight shutout.

Atherton has outscored their opponents 92 to 0 over the first two weeks.

Mercer County is off to a not-so-great start and has been handled pretty easily in both their games so far.

Atherton should name the score in this one and I will predict their third straight shutout.

I don't disagree at all, and the Manual game is a must see.  But after that, it will be a long time before they are tested again IMO.

Agreed.  They have a really good defense.  I would like to see what they do offensively against a good team.  The score for this game can be whatever Atherton wants it to be.

This is the worst Mercer team in last 10 years.

Titans season is going to be a long one I believe. Atherton by as many as they want.

Mercer beat CAL back to back years in 2019 & 2020 season and averaged around 70 players on their roster under their previous coach. Administrators decide to make a coaching change and the last two years they have been in the 30's on their roster and you see the results.  It goes to show you what happens when administrators make a mistake in coaching hires. I would think Mercer would like to go back to the days of having 70 players on their roster and competing with CAL.
