  1. Agreed. That district has struggled mightily since Russellville's magical run in '21.
  2. The strength of schedule for NCC will show in this one. Give me the Breds.
  3. After back-to-back semifinal appearances, Campbellsville has struggled mightily this season. I expect Holy Cross to win by multiple scores.
  4. 5 vs. 6 this Friday night with MAJOR District and RPI ramifications!
  5. The Bearcats are a 4th down stop against Sayre from potentially being undefeated. Game was 19-7 at that point. Sayre converts, scores two plays later, gets the onside, takes the lead, and Batts-Hobbs and Davidson both get hurt on the final drive and were limited against Dubois. Credit for Dubois, but the young Bearcats were a mess offensively with 5 turnovers. Those 4.5 quarters were a wake up call, and the young Bearcats responded by winning a thriller at Spencer county the following week. HUGE test against a great Bethlehem team next week. A win, and KCD can look at potentially a #2 ranking in the RPI when it’s all said and done.
  6. Gotcha. I noticed it on Max Preps.
  7. I believe Sayre picked up Bourbon County. Is that correct? If so, great move for RPI purposes.
  8. Posts like this are why we have a coaching shortage. Coach has won MULTIPLE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!!
  9. What a magical season so far from the Green Devils! When it comes down to it, I still think they will lose to Newport and NCC due to their lack of schedule. Would love to be proven wrong!
  10. This has the potential to be the game of the week. KCD has improved exponentially ever since the final 4 minutes of Week 1 against Sayre. Holy Cross has shown resiliency in early games, winning nail-biters on the road against Dubois and DeSales. Holy Cross has a MAJOR penalty problem, and that will need to be addressed in a high-stakes game. In the end, I think Davidson, Batts-Hobbs, and the KCD offense will be too much for the Cougars. I still expect a tight game if Hoover for Holy Cross is healthy and good to go. Also, watch for Coach Dick from Holy Cross to open his bag of trick plays. Give me KCD 35-28.
  11. Heard Hoover may have been hurt. I hope that isn't the case. Love watching that young man play.
  12. KCD's win against Spencer County looks even better with this current result.
  13. Sayre and Middlesboro has MASSIVE implications Week 10.
  14. KCD is healthy and has things clicking. If they continue to play like they have been, they name the score. Could easily be a running clock.
  15. From the July padded practice to this, Central is on a run of bad decisions.
