The Flyers have started to find their groove. Finally able to string together 2 straight wins and get back to .500, they look to stay in the lead in their district as they travel into Spencer County. Knox Barrett had a big game as they beat Lincoln County 61-33.

Spencer County enters this one 4-2, but are only two points away from being 6-0. They dropped one point games to KCD and to Fairdale. They have been right there and are having a great season. They're led on the ground by Jake Greene who has 850 rushing yards and 12 TDs on the year.

Last year this was a dandy of a game. Can Spencer County flip the script and pull off the win this year?

Spencer Co is very disciplined and well coached. They have their scheme and they run it and run it well. Last year Franklin Co survived the meeting. In 24 at Spencer it was slow and sluggish in the 1st half with FC getting going in the second. I'm not disrespecting other teams in the district but it has been Franklin Co then Spencer. This game most likely crowns the district Champion. The last district loss for Franklin Co was to Central at home on Oct. 24, 2020. If Franklin continues to trust the process they could finish their last season in 4A as district champs if you can beat Spencer. Franklin County will have their hands full all night for sure, I believe they will be up to the challenge. I'm picking my boys from 1100 East Main as they take the trip to Spencer! It should be a good one!
