The Bearcats made the trip to Madisonville for the second year in a row, and the roles were reversed with storms back in Louisville. When KCD came down last season, the game was declared a no contest due to lightning. Bearcats and Storm both came away injury free, and the Bearcats continue to improve before district play gets underway in three weeks. Best of luck to both teams the rest of the way!

Final. A classic shootout in Taylorsville tonight. Spencer County scored with no time left, and KCD stopped the 2 point try. Spencer County's QB lost his helmet on the TD and had to come out. A great game by both teams!

After a 13-7 halftime score, DuBois ran away with it after a few Bearcat turnovers. To add insult to injury from last weeks collapse, Batts Hobbs and Davidson were both hurt on the final drive of the Sayre game, and both played one drive tonight before things got out of hand. Coach Durant has Dubois on the right trajectory, and they should continue to climb the ladder. As far as KCD goes, Coach Jones will get the Bearcats back on track. Uncharted territory after losing 19 seniors off of a state championship team, but I expect the Bearcats to improve each week before October 9th at Holy Cross.

Just watched the OT replay. Salmons didn't learn his lesson from last years state championship with the QB sneak.........
