PRP makes the trip to Georgetown Friday night to take on the Scott County Cardinals. Last season, this was about as one sided as it gets but PRP has shown signs of improvement this year.

Last week, PRP took on Franklin County and it was decently close for a while but the flyers broke it open towards the end of the first half and never looked back. Outside of a few really nice skill players, there is not much talent on the team yet.

Scott County traveled to Bowling Green to take on the purples in an absolute thriller. The teams combined for one stop all night, and that came with under two minutes left in the 4th quarter on a Red Owens sack. SC won that battle 51-44.

Timmy Emongo had 3 touchdowns and 325 all purpose yards and continues to make the case he is Mr. Kentucky. Way had a big night at the fullback position and it was the second year in a row the purples could never find any consistency on the defensive side of the ball.

PRP defensively has struggled giving up 56 to Raceland, and Franklin County in back to back weeks. Scott County has not scored points on only one drive all season. That's a pretty big mismatch.

PRP continues their gauntlet schedule, SC looks to improve defensively. Should be a fun one.

This one's over quick, like in the first quarter. Franklin Co hasn't been able to get much success running the ball. They had some last night. I don't know Emongos most rushing yards in a game but I probably will after Friday if McKee doesn't rest him. Younger guys will get some game reps as SC moves on to their next game. PRP did have a few nice throws but never consistently moved the ball. The first score for PRP was off a turnover inside or around the FC 30 if I remember correctly. They moved one drive after halftime. PRP needs to adjust their schedule to help build confidence for them outside of 6A. It's brutal for them.

Game will be over in 1st quarter. Good game for back ups to get some clock.

I think this one will be over pretty quick there's just no way to stop the Scott County offense for PRP. JV guys need some work this is a great game to get some.

Last year this one was over pretty early. Probably a similar game Friday. Hopefully the defense can tighten things up and have some success.

Also hope that Emongo can be in the game long enough to keep moving forward with Mr Football campaign stats.

Hiring a former pro doesn't always work out, and it aged like sour milk for PRP when this schedule was created two years ago.

Another Friday night in Georgetown means another technical delay. Game is about to begin but with the stream down there may not be updates until that is resolved.

Defensively SC is coming out with a few new faces. I like that idea. PRP at midfield after one play.

SC will have the ability to score on almost any play they want on offense. I think they'll go heavy with the fullback in drive two.

PRP was able to drive a little bit. Their read option plays had some success but the drive stalls with a blocked field goal.
