  1. Technically twice. Once vs GC, and once vs Collins they punted with 10 seconds left in the first half to not give them a chance at a possession.
  2. I personally don't think Anderson has much of a chance. SC offense is too versatile and the defense continues to tighten up. 56-7 Cards. Running clock by late first half.
  3. The battle of two teams who are 1-0 in district play takes place on Friday night in Lawerenceburg. The Scott County Cardinals travel to take on the Anderson County Bearcats. Last week, Anderson County beat South Oldham 28-20. While South Oldham is definitely down this year, it was still a bit surprising to see Anderson County win a game in district. Anderson County improved to 4-2 and they're looking for their first playoff birth since the 22-23 season. They had not won 4 or more games since the 19-20 season, yet they have already matched that through 6 games this year! Good things are happening with that program. Scott County played Collins in their first district matchup. It was a crazy game with the final score being 71-60 in favor of Scott County. The Cardinals got in a hole early down 14-0, but after a first drive fluke fumble from the offense, they scored every drive after. Who can consistently stop the SC offense? So, will Scott County beat Anderson County? Or will Anderson County continue their impressive season and upset the Cardinals?
  4. That'll do it. SC takes over after the failed 4th down play. 71-60 SC wins it. Wow.
  5. I know typically you should go down, but I love that play from Emongo. Fantastic. 71-60 Scott County with 1:43 left in the game.
  6. 2nd and 9 coming with 1:50 left in the game. Collins uses their final timeout.
  7. Collins is using timeouts. The game is likely over if I'm doing my math correctly. Just protect the ball.
  8. McKee runs the toss again and it goes for the first. Emongo is letting Collins hear it after that one.
  9. Emongo scores, but obviously you have to throw a flag there. Of course! It's a 15 yarder too. Gotta love it.
  10. 3rd and 3 coming with 2:56 left in the game.
  11. SC recovers and will need to drive about 49 yards to score a touchdown.
  12. Touchdown Collins. 64-60 PAT is missed with 4:43 left. Not sure that matters it's 7 or nothing anyway. Just recover the onside and do what you've done all night. Please just recover a key onside kick for once.
  13. 3rd and short coming at the 5.
  14. Well finally there is a flag that I agree with on us. DPI. This game is excruciatingly long.
  15. Unless you drop an onside kick like one of our guys just did. Collins ball.
  16. 64-54 everyone is gassed at this point eventually the deep shots will work. Oh well. Go score and put it away once and for all lol.
  17. Another flag on us graciously gives Collins the first instead of a 4th and 10.
  18. Ellison 4 yard rushing score. 64-47 Cardinals with 10 to play.
  19. First down run by Emongo and a facemask puts SC half the distance to the goal at around the 4 of Collins.
  20. 57-47 Scott County End of Q3
  21. Obviously, we converted regardless but this is just wild. SC down to the Collins 39.
  22. Touchdown wiped off the board now it's 3rd and 17.
  23. Another flag on Scott county! Holy cow I'm not one to typically harp on this but these officials have been god awful. I've seen nothing wrong with our blocking compared to usual but we've had 5-7 holds on us today. Insane.
  24. 57-47 deep shot connects for Goodin. Late 3rd quarter still.
