The Jackets of Woodford County(6-1 2-0) make the trip across I64 to face the Cardinals of Scott County(7-1 3-0) in what should be the district championship game. Woodford has one last 3 meetings including 2 high-scoring games last season both at home. This one should be another high-scoring game, where a key stop or turnover could determine the outcome.

Regular season game of the year in 5A. I can't envision many scenarios where this isn't a memorable night in Georgetown.

I have a feeling this one is going to be epic!

Could this set a ky high school scoring record?

I think the SC defense will get a few stops and force a turnover or two.

SC 63

Wofo 48

WOFO 38

Scott Co. 27

When comparing scores with common opponents being South Oldham and Collins

South Oldham lost to WOFO 43-6 and to Scott 55-18 both by 37 points.

Collins lost to Scott Co. 71-60 and to WOFO 56-34.

That is why I give WOFO the slight nod. I would not be surprised either way howvever.

Collins score makes it look much closer than it really was by the end. Onside kick recovery late, and phantom calls to extend Collin’s drives throughout the majority of the second half kept it within two scores by the end. SC was up nearly 20 in the last 5 minutes.

Woof’s Dline was the determining factor in the Collins game. They simply pressed every play knowing Collins passes 90% of the time. Scott Co.’s Wing T offense is so deceptive they may neutralize Wofo’s front. Might be a must see game. Hope Glicod carries this one.

They will not Scott County uses Hudl and you have to pay for it.

Should be a classic game in Georgetown. I like Scott County in this one though. WoFo has a good defensive front but Scott County offense, like a poster stated above, limits your defensive fronts effectiveness with as much misdirection as they use. Should be a good one either way.
