14-3 Campbellsville at half.. Deja Vu of the Holy Cross game in that second quarter for KCD. Dropped INT on 3rd down, fumble, and stopped on the 8 yard line on 4th and 2. KCD ball coming out of half. Campbellsville is the real deal. Regardless of the outcome, these two teams have a great chance of practicing on Thanksgiving.

I tend to agree. Things are not good on Dixie Highway. The loser of tonight’s KCD Campbellsville game needs to be preparing to head to Russellville for round 2.

Final. Bethlehem took advantage of several HC unsportsmanlike penalties, and ran the ball effectively. HC had an opportunity to tie the game late, but threw an interception that led to a late 32 yard rushing TD by the Eagles. Best of luck to both the Eagles and Cougars next week!

This should be the game of the week across the entire state. While I believe Campbellsville has more talent across the board, I think KCD is better conditioned, and if it comes down to the wire like last year, then I give the Bearcats a slight edge. KCD wins another tight one 24-21.

Dominating performance from start to finish by the Bearcats tonight. Next week at Campbellsville will be one of the best games in the state, regardless of class. Best of luck to the Eagles the rest of the way!

I expect Campbellsville to roll. 4 TDs at a minimum, if not a running clock. Holy Cross will definitely come out fired up and ready to play at home, but I just don't see them stopping the Campbellsville offense after KCD put up close to 500 yards last week on their defense.

Most definitely! Might still be hard for them to catch KCD, but they would definitely be in the #2 slot. The top 3 will be KCD, Campbellsville, and Raceland in some sort of order. Sayre gets hurt with their district RPI being toward the bottom. My Prediction if KCD wins: KCD, Raceland, Campbellsville My Prediction if Campbellsville wins: KCD (by less that a percentage point), Campbellsville, Raceland. If Campbellsville had held on against Bell County, they might be #1 in the RPI right now, if not just behind KCD by less than three percentage points.

The KCD Campbellsville game is shaping up to be one of the best matchups of the year next Friday night.

The Bearcats welcome longtime district rival Bethlehem for homecoming. Coach Jones would tell you the Bearcats left a few touchdowns off of the scoreboard after a sloppy second quarter Friday night. I expect the Bearcats to come out laser focused and roll before one of the biggest matchups in single A this year on the 24th. Bearcats with a running clock by the middle of the 3rd quarter, if not sooner.

KCD would have to play a terrible game IMO to fall tomorrow night. As far as Pennebaker goes, he is no longer with the team from what I have heard.

Hazard might be the team to beat this time next year. Chandler is doing a heck of a job over there.

Pennebaker won’t be coming back. And that’s all that needs to be said……. The Cougars played a great game IMO. Sayre looked very undisciplined with the personal fouls and taunting penalties. Coach Pennington will definitely address that on Monday. A good win for Sayre before they get three consecutive running clocks before the Halloween finale against Middlesboro. The gauntlet doesn’t get easier for HC, with a trip across town to KCD followed by welcoming Campbellsville on the 17th.

I’m also not buying the Campbellsville hype. Class A is a three team race with Pikeville, Raceland, and KCD as the dark horse.

Campbellsville looked quite impressive on Friday night. Running clock early.. The rematch against KCD on October 24th might be the best game left in the regular season against Class A opponents.
