District Game #1 for both teams as Bethlehem will travel to Campbellsville to take on the Eagles… Bethlehem comes in to the game with a 3-2 record… after losing their first two games, Bethlehem has won three in a row… Campbellsville enters the game 4-1… after a tough loss in week one to Bell County, Campbellsville has reeled off four in a row… Over the last 20 years, this game has turned into a fierce rivalry and I expect a hard hitting, physical game on Friday night… Who gets the Win???

Campbellsville 42

Bethlehem 13

While this has become a nice district rivalry, Bethlehem just doesn’t have the firepower to keep up. While Jack Bradley is a competent QB, they have depth issues with a 30-man roster and extreme youth on the lines, which showed surrendering 42 points to an average Garrard County squad. Bethlehem is a year or two away from re-emerging as a threat.

I figured this would be a rebuilding for them. But I expect next year to be much better and improved.

Running clock Cville.

Campbellsville looked quite impressive on Friday night. Running clock early.. The rematch against KCD on October 24th might be the best game left in the regular season against Class A opponents.

Campbellsville currently leads 21-0.

28-0 Campbellsville at halftime.
