Congrats to Paris on the upset over Sayre, but Raceland will roll in this one setting up a heavyweight clash with Pikeville.

Campbellsville ripped NCC’s heart out last year in a wild finish. That NCC locker room would love nothing more than to avenge that loss and take the regional back to NKY. But I think Campbellsville is a serious contender to get to Kroger Field so I’m taking the Eagles in another close one

It’s really hard to pick against Pikeville this time of year. Really good matchup between two really good teams. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

I like the Scotties in this one. First year HC Jackson Arnett has done a great job and may have brought some of that Nov. winning recipe with him from his time at Boyle.

Middlesboro got a great win against Sayre and have themselves in a great place hosting this game. However, I think if Hazard gets that offense rolling they are battle tested enough to go get this win. I’m taking the Bulldogs. Might be the best game in 1A this week.

I think Newport will pull this one out late. Just not convinced on HC just yet due to their schedule. However there’s something to be said about building a winning mentality and an expectation to win. I’ll keep a close eye on this one Friday!

Look for the Bearcats to roll in this one. Very hard system to defend and I just think they’ll be too much for Holy Cross.

Hearing Cville may be a little banged up. Be interesting to see if Bethlehem can make a game of it. Pretty large gap to close based on the regular season score however.

Campbellsville rolls in this one. I don’t think Adair has the horses to keep up with Campbellsville on either side of the ball.

I think the Spartans knock off Middlesboro in a close one tonight

I think the speed of the game picks up big time for Somerset this week. They are a very tough team and Hughes is a beast but I think Hazard finds a way to get it done in this one.

I firmly believe KCD although a very solid team is too one dimensional offensively to win it all. I think Raceland, Pikeville and Campbellsville in any order is your class of 1A. Lining up like Campbellsville/Raceland matchup in the semis which will give each team the toughest road to a title regardless of which side you look at it from. Going to be an interesting next couple of weeks watching it all shake out

Pikeville doing Pikeville things this time of year. Scary team entering November.

RPI is an absolute JOKE. Find me ONE ranking system where a team can get beat by a district/conference head to head opponent and hold their ranking…ONE. What a joke. I personally believe Campbellsville has played the state finals 3 straight years before Kroger field and looks like we may be headed to a 4th. Time will tell.

I think John Hardin rides the momentum from the big win at Taylor Co. to win the district championship this Friday.

This atmosphere will be electric. I think Pikeville will lean on Hazard in the 2nd half and get the win. But I would not be surprised if the Bulldogs were able to pull out the win—their offense is dangerous.

I think Campbellsville is the better team and still has to be feeling the sting from last year. However, I still have real questions about their ability to stop the pass. KCD may be more run-oriented but Coach Jones is great, and he will have his kids ready to win this game. This one will come down to the wire. Looking forward to watching this one. On the RPI discussion, the system is completely broken and I’m still trying to figure out how KCD got such a huge bump over everyone when the #s were released. Maybe they do deserve to be #1 but Campbellsville only lost to a 3A powerhouse by a score and if they were to win head-to-head isn’t taken into account.

If Campbellsville can’t defend the pass any better than they did tonight they’ll be home before Thanksgiving this year.

Big 1A matchup. Pretty lopsided last year but Hazard’s offense is electric. I still think Raceland is too much but much closer this time around.

I like Monroe in this one. I’m assuming Thursday night due to fall break …trap game for the Eagles. Monroe in a tight one.

HC is a tough place to play but I like the Spartans in a good one here.

Idk about the other classes but 1A is straight comedy.

Taylor is very good up front. I think this one is close but I like the Cards in this one.
