Hazard will be back home again for another Class 1A Top 5 matchup. Raceland will be the opponent this week. Raceland comes into this matchup averaging more than 45 points per game. They are allowing right at 21 points per game. The Rams sit at 4-1 on the season with its only blemish against Pikeville 35-27. 
 

Hazard comes into this matchup averaging about 33 points per game. The Hazard defense is giving up 20 points per game. The Bulldogs are looking to avoid a 3 game losing streak. Can the Bulldogs slow down the Rams Ground and Pound Offense?

Who wins this Class 1A Top 5 matchup? Does Hazard pull the upset in many eyes? Does the Rams come to the Hazard and leave the Bulldogs beaten and Bloody?

Wooooo! Excited for this matchup! I would love to see this be a tight game that goes down to a final drive or OT! I do not know how the dogs respond after last weeks loss but would love to see them swinging until the end. Raceland is powerful and I believe they are on a race back to Kroger. They are going to be hard to beat. I’m taking Raceland! 

Hazard was out scored last year in the two matchups by a score of 77-8. Hazard needs to put that on the scoreboard for motivation for this game.

Big 1A matchup. Pretty lopsided last year but Hazard’s offense is electric. I still think Raceland is too much but much closer this time around.

I will go with Raceland on this one, Hazard has always had good football teams and this year shouldn’t be any different. I look for it to be somewhat close but Raceland gets the win!

They've struggled to put up points in all four recent games against Raceland. I think that has to change if Hazard wants to beat the Rams tonight.

Raceland is going to test the Hazard run defense, which has been hit and miss this season. I like Stiltner to open up opportunities for the Rams to air it out some. That balance gets it done tonight by 3-4 scores over a young Bulldog squad.
