Congrats to Paris on the upset over Sayre, but Raceland will roll in this one setting up a heavyweight clash with Pikeville.

Campbellsville ripped NCC’s heart out last year in a wild finish. That NCC locker room would love nothing more than to avenge that loss and take the regional back to NKY. But I think Campbellsville is a serious contender to get to Kroger Field so I’m taking the Eagles in another close one

It’s really hard to pick against Pikeville this time of year. Really good matchup between two really good teams. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

I like the Scotties in this one. First year HC Jackson Arnett has done a great job and may have brought some of that Nov. winning recipe with him from his time at Boyle.

Middlesboro got a great win against Sayre and have themselves in a great place hosting this game. However, I think if Hazard gets that offense rolling they are battle tested enough to go get this win. I’m taking the Bulldogs. Might be the best game in 1A this week.

I think Newport will pull this one out late. Just not convinced on HC just yet due to their schedule. However there’s something to be said about building a winning mentality and an expectation to win. I’ll keep a close eye on this one Friday!

Look for the Bearcats to roll in this one. Very hard system to defend and I just think they’ll be too much for Holy Cross.

Hearing Cville may be a little banged up. Be interesting to see if Bethlehem can make a game of it. Pretty large gap to close based on the regular season score however.

Campbellsville rolls in this one. I don’t think Adair has the horses to keep up with Campbellsville on either side of the ball.

I think the Spartans knock off Middlesboro in a close one tonight

I think the speed of the game picks up big time for Somerset this week. They are a very tough team and Hughes is a beast but I think Hazard finds a way to get it done in this one.

I firmly believe KCD although a very solid team is too one dimensional offensively to win it all. I think Raceland, Pikeville and Campbellsville in any order is your class of 1A. Lining up like Campbellsville/Raceland matchup in the semis which will give each team the toughest road to a title regardless of which side you look at it from. Going to be an interesting next couple of weeks watching it all shake out

RPI is an absolute JOKE. Find me ONE ranking system where a team can get beat by a district/conference head to head opponent and hold their ranking…ONE. What a joke. I personally believe Campbellsville has played the state finals 3 straight years before Kroger field and looks like we may be headed to a 4th. Time will tell.

I think John Hardin rides the momentum from the big win at Taylor Co. to win the district championship this Friday.
