Anyone have any information on Western Hills and the open head coach position?

I haven't seen or heard anything about that one. Pete Combs was named interim head coach at Western Hills after Simon Vanderpool stepped down in late January, and he was formally named head coach a month later in February.

The Wolverines have had an 0-3 start to the season this year with a 21-10 loss at home to Estill County, and then two straight losses on the road, 44-13 to East Jessamine, and a 56-23 to Henry County. The KHSAA Scoreboard still has Combs listed as head coach, and I didn't see the job listed on the KHSAA Open Jobs site or on the Franklin County Schools employment portal.

I also checked the Cincinnati Public Schools employment portal to see if you might have been talking about Western Hills High School in Cincinnati, but I didn't see any football openings there either.

Where did you hear that the job was open?

Current Suspension for the HC. The OC has assumed Head Coaching duties until further notice.
