Week 4 and Beechwood hosts its first home game of the year with 6A Simon Kenton traveling to Ft. Mitchell, note that kickoff is at 7:30, as it always is at Beechwood. Fans will get treated to Beechwood's new scoreboard with video and built in sound system. The Tigers stand 2-0 and the Pioneers are 2-1. Both have played Dixie Heights with Simon Kenton beating Dixie 20-10 in their season opener and Beechwood beating Dixie 48-7 last week.

Beechwood has reloaded impressively following the loss of 9 of their 11 starting offensive players from last year. The Tigers scored 53 and 48 points in their first two games. In those two games new starting QB Emmett Queen is 22/33, 558 yards, 6 TD passes and no interceptions. Nathan Pabst is the leading WR with 10 catches, 311 yards and 2 TD's. WR Tyler Fryman is a human highlight reel adding 7 catches, 203 yards, 3 TD receptions, a rushing TD and a punt return for a TD. RB Brody Aylor rushed 13 times for 95 yards against Dixie Heights.

Simon Kenton also features a new starting QB. Sophomore Grant Webb has made a solid debut going 22/35, 401 yards, 4 TD's and 1 INT. A player to watch for the Pioneers is WR/DB Grayson Harris. Harris is an interception machine on defense and will be a test for BW QB Queen as he tries to get the ball to Pabst and Fryman. On the receiving side Harris has 12 catches, 287 yards and 3 TD's. RB Landon Brown is strong back 24 rushes, 206 yards and 2 TD's. Sophomore Jason Rabe and Senior Tucker Ober lead the SK defense with 10 tackles each.

How does everyone see this game playing out?

Beechwood dominating.

It will be a tough battle for the Pioneers trying to stop Fryman.

60 pieced 2 weeks in a row?

We know who’s going to win. Can SK make this close?

Nope.

Beechwood via running clock.

Webb has 542 yards 4 tds

Brown has 254 yards rushing 3 tds

Harris has 17 catches 370 yards 3 tds

Beechwood moon walks to the finish!

Hopefully SK gets #11 Schoborg, #56 Davis and #0 Giordano who have been out of the lineup the last 2 weeks.

Hoping everybody comes out of this one-sided track meet healthy.

I give SK the win morally if they avoid a running clock.

They feed you up at the Log Cabin Inn in Independence.
