Q, have not heard that yet. Can only speak for last week about 10-12 underclassman did not travel. HHS has a lot of players who need to get on field. This is an opportunity to get them playing a tough opponent.

RU, I think all good teams expect to win when they take the field and execute their game plan. Highlands will make adjustments to their game plan to win. Scott County would also fall into that category, when those helmets go on they expect to win. Friday will be a great test for both teams. They will see where they stand against a really good team & where they need to improve. The ultimate goal for Highlands and I assume Scott County is State Champs.

Looking for a great game again. Weather for Friday looks to be like a cool Fall night (It's August). Birds Offense gets rolling and defense comes out aggressive. Birds start season with a 36-21 win.

Heard thru the grape vine that part of softball setup will remain in place. The area east of right field will be used for football practice.

It should be interesting off season. Winter workouts and Spring football should help determine who quarterback will be. These are still growing boys. You just don't know when certain kids will go thru growth spurts.

100% agree. Do I think Jefferson County schools will self evaluate itself. No way in Hell, not with the bureaucracy that they have there. I agree X better get moving or they to will miss train. T is already loaded for next year. What 8th grade boy in the area would not want to go there. Success only breeds more success!!

Not even close. The way the Birds Defense is flying right now. Lex. Cath. will not score in the 20's. Birds with running clock in the 3rd quarter.

Does Cov. Cath Offense present some interesting match up? The answer is yes. Birds Defense will adjust. HHS Offense has yet to be slowed down this year. So until CC scores more points than HHS, they will continue be the little brother to HHS.

Horst heard channel 12 might need another weather person. I think you will see some adjustments by Birds defense this time around.
