Wildcats play like that the rest of the tourney gonna be hard to beat, game should have been even worse but a couple calls in the first half when Newport was making a run stopped their momentum,And i for one hardly get on the officials (check some past post usually take up for them) but man if that's the 16th guy's and gal (she's good) i'll keep our ninth region officials anyday.

Yes they did change that this year but two bucks not to bad. And i also liked the two regions last year was nice to watch.:walk:

Congrats to all the players, we can argue all day on who should of been on the list but all that does is take away from those on the list, so can't we just congratulate who made the teams.

Once again i agree with your insight Newport must rebound way better than they did Saturday. They have to get some offensive boards.

I agree and the All "A" game on the floor in Richmond will help it's about like Northern.Some teams have not played in big gym like that this year.

Newport should win this but if they let them play maybe not, Newcath was way tougher Saturday. The ref's let them play but Newport did not push and shove back.

If the win over Highlands was an upset for Newport than you would have to think their win over Boone County was an upset they been ranked higher than Newport most of the year.

Yes and it's wrong the papers have been saying tonight also. I think if Newport gaurds the three they will win, Foster did a great job on Grant last time i'm sure he will be gaurding him again Saturday.But i really think this game could go either way, would think Newport on thier turf should win, but last years all A final Ncc beat them at home.Should be a rough and tough game.:popcorn:

I think it's a little of both i know of one team that didn't even practice them all year till it cost them a game or two. Teams just do not practice them no where near as much as they used to, and your rite a three or dunk is what today's kids care about.:confused:

Congrats to Newcath, disappointing year for Highlands this year as I know expectations were high. Injuries killed this group of seniors year.

Covcath win's this one rather easily, by 15 or so.

I think NCC win's this one by 8 to 10 points Highlands still to banged up.

Some of these people probably would not last a quarter of a game before they would want to turn in their whistles. I for one do not wanna do it but man some of the fans,coaches, and players blame the ref for everything that goes wrong in their games, don"t get me wrong I have seen games i thought could have been officiated better but i'm sure those guy's have off night's just like everybody else.:sssh:

14-10 record i would hardly call a nice season, with this group thought coach Dilts would have had a better year.:ohbrother::ohbrother:

I agree totally would not be a big upset. If Trinity is not ready they could go down, but I think they will pull it off.:popcorn:

Newport Central easy by about 20.

Pendleton fan's are normally never confused with being classy them and Campbell County fan's are some of the worst year in and year out at the middle school level anyway's.
