Final.

Trinity's season is finished, but they did have a solid year. Congrats to the Bulldogs.

Two of top four in state go down in first round of region. WOW! We all knew the 7th would be crazy and wild!!!

Great point! The competition level is off the charts in the 7th and is clearly a testament to the kind of season Josh Sewell has. I'm sure he has your vote as Mr. Basketball as well.

Sewells stock in Mr. Basketball just went down.

I agree. Mr. Basketball winners need to at least win one post season championship (district, region, or state) in their career. Sewell unfortunately has has not won any. I think it is now between Elisha and Rico.

Male hits one of two FT's with 5 seconds to win it. Was Male's only lead if I'm not mistaken. Male played a very good second half and hit quite a few threes. T was up by 12 or 13 in the first half but Male fought back.

Not a big T fan, but seriously, kid won MVP in 3 tournaments. 7th region is tough and now Ballard's to win.

Congrats to Male. They hit all the shots when they needed to.

Trinity did not play as well at the end of the game as they have all year and it cost them tonight.

I was hoping for a Trinity win to be able to watch Sewell at the state tournament.

I suppose Ballard will be the favorite to win the 7th now. They'll be dangerous to win it all at Rupp as well.

Congratulations to Male on the win! Good luck the rest of the way.

Also, congratulations to Trinity for a great season. You guys have nothing to hang your head over. It will probably a long time before another team in KY will accomplish what you group of young men did this year.

Good luck to Sewell, Eply and Corbett. All three of you will be successful continuing your basketball carrer at the next level.:ylsuper:

Not trying to be mean here, but as Trinity football knows, the only thing that matters is how you finish.

Wow....:scared::eyeonyou:

Not suprised by this at all. GRC has played Male twice. GRC won one and Male won one. Really thought Trinity would win, but knew that Male could beat them.

Some just don't realize how big of an accomplishment this was. I too wish the best to the Trinity seniors. Also best of luck to Male the rest of the way.

Trinity lost for three reasons: shot selection, Sewell one shot in the last 3 minutes (did nothing to get him the ball down low), shot selection.

That's life in the 7th region you better be on your best game every night or you are gone.
