Since the KHSAA is so bent on using the RPI, why do we have a blind draw instead seed teams according to the RPI? You have top of the 3 teams in the state 2 will battle in the first round (Daviess County and South Warren) with the winner to face possibly Henderson County, so in one weekend you will eliminate 2 of the top 5 teams in the state instead of having them around for the 2nd weekend. Makes no sense to have a blind draw when you are so determined to use RPI. Any thoughts?

For me it is Pulaski County/Southwestern. I hate anything blue and orange.

I left the ministry 15 years ago, and I've been praying about my next ministry position, seems God has led me to what I call the "marketplace" ministry. Working and job and "ministering" while leading. Tougher than any church I've ever led.

Thomas Nelson does have great facilities. However in my opinion Nelson County just isn't big enough for 2 public high schools, considering Bardstown and Bethlehem are in town. Agreed!

Thomas Nelson has a beautiful facility, and a new turf field, I certainly hope this will help them right their ship as well.

Coach Griffin is a personal friend of mine, and he is a great guy. I think Glasgow, or Meade or whomever would have been getting a very good coach. His kids love him, and his kids play hard for him. Next year will be a "down" year compared to the last two. But he has a group coming from Middle School, that maybe better than this group that just set a school record for wins.

This is an enormous loss, for his family, his church, the Community of Pond Creek, the students of Belfry High School, and for Kentucky High School football, but High School football across the country. Rest in peace coach, I can only imagine, the Jesus said, when he arrived at the pearly gates, "Well done, Coach, well done!"

This could very well be a repeat of the Orange Bowl in 2012 when Alabama beat ND 42-14.

With some of the injuries that ND is dealing with on the OL heading into this game, I don't see how they are going to block OSU front 7 to give Leonard time to throw, or open holes for Love to get through. I voted and I think OSU wins going away.

That hurt since I am WVU fan. I think since Saban left Alabama, I don't think they made the right hire, so I see the fall of Alabama taking place, I seen highlights of that this week. Secondly, I do feel that schools, like those I mentioned which have big donors for NIL will continue to get top talent and will recruit well from the portal. For me as a WVU fan, it is exciting that McAfee and Kendrick (Owner of the Dbacks and Suns) is going to open up the checkbook for NIL. I do believe the days of SEC leading in the NFL draft will slowly begin to dwindle, but I don't believe the SEC will become the ACC (I think the Big XII is better).

They are using the ACC to be able to get into the playoffs, and NCAA March Madness, plus the fact they do not have to share their profit from NBC and now getting to keep all 20 million, just adds to the reason I hate them. If, the commissioner of the ACC had any guts he would tell them get in or get out. There's a reason the Big 10 did not agree to allow ND to do what the ACC is allowing them to do.

I guess that is why of OSU DB's transferred out of the SEC to the Big 10, Beck just left UGA for Miami, I think we are watching the collapse of the SEC empire right before our very eyes. NIL and Transfer portal is going to see to that. So are you saying that OSU, ND, USC, PSU, Miami, and other schools, do not have the infrastructure or level of commitment?

I don't understand such dislike for this guy. I'm not a PSU guy, but at the end of the day, I like him. Just curious. I guess it maybe how I feel about ND, I can't stand them, if ND was playing the devil and his angels I would root for the devil. I feel the same way about Texas too, I can't stand them. But I do know why I have such a dislike for those schools.

With all due respect, I do not see this happening for Reed, he simply can't guard his shadow. Good kid, but at the end of the day, he's going to have to greatly improve his defensive skills. My thoughts is after is rookie contract, he will spend his days overseas playing professionally.

I don't see this being close OSU is the best team money can buy, and they have spent their money well. I think this one is over by halftime.

I think this will be the better of the 2 semis. I'm taking Penn St. simply because I can't stand ND. I do think if #11 is not of defense for PSU, then ND will win, but I think if he plays, he maybe a difference maker.

Totally disagree, there is no such thing that exists any longer. These are now employees of said University. Not a student-athlete.

Great question and I like how you have phrased this question. With that said, I don't think the dominance is over, but I do think the playing field is becoming more level than ever before. I do believe that NIL and the portal has certainly leveled the playing field, but I also think that losing a coach like Saban will go a long way in leveling things out as well. I want to see if there are any regulations that someone (NCAA, CFP or some entity) comes up with to help bring the NIL and portal into some guidelines. I think we all will agree that the portal opening is at the wrong time of the year. Secondly, there has to be something in place that will protect the brand. Currently, there is nothing in place to protect the brand.
