Final a heck of a game and congratulations to Notre Dame! A tough loss for Coach Franklin and Penn State.

And speaking of overhyped, the Penn St QB Drew Allar. Wow, so many bad throws and bad decisions in this game. They kept talking NFL and all I could think of was here comes the next Will Levis.

The most impressive players in the game were the Penn St. TE #44 Jalen Warren and DE #11 Abdul Carter. Those two are NFL bound.

  • From ESPN: This is what it’s all about. Mitch Jeter’s dad in the stands the moment his son hit the game-winning FG ?

Big win for the Irish. I hate that my shot at the contest is gone. lol

Solid game. Luck of the Irish proved to be the difference in that one.

I wouldn't mind seeing Notre Dame win it all with Freeman as their head coach.

Where was the luck?

What a game sad Penn State lost they was fun to watch this year. Hope ND wins the next game!

You and I were on the same road to victory in the contest.

Great footage game. I hope Notre Dame can win the championship but I don’t think they can beat Ohio State. Their chances are likely better against Texas.

I do not like Notre Dame. I don't like sports teams that are overhyped by the media. And Notre Dame has been overhyped and over rated for 40 years. But I am ok with this ND team because I don't think they are overhyped and I like Freeman.

Go Irish! This team reminds me some of the 2002 OSU National Champ team that beat the loaded Miami team. OSU that year won all their games, but won them all pretty ugly all year. They had about 3 or 4 games that went to the very end and even last play to win. Yet they then go beat the loaded Miami team. It’s obviously not the same comparison, but just how Notre Dame wins and plays reminds me of that OSU team.

While I agree their chances are better against Texas. How Notre Dame plays is very similar to how Michigan plays. Obviously Michigan is a rivalry type game. However, the style Notre Dame plays is similar to Michigan and that obviously has given Ryan Day some issues the last few years.

I like Freeman too.
