I don't understand such dislike for this guy. I'm not a PSU guy, but at the end of the day, I like him. Just curious.

I guess it maybe how I feel about ND, I can't stand them, if ND was playing the devil and his angels I would root for the devil.  I feel the same way about Texas too, I can't stand them. But I do know why I have such a dislike for those schools.

I'm petty, so I wouldn't schedule Notre Dame if I was a P5 team for this exact reason.

I hate Notre Dame too, but Freeman makes them less annoying.

Just rubs me the wrong way. 

Some of the things he's said and done over the years, didn't sit well with me.

All the hate for ND not being in a conference, why? No one made any team join a conference. Any team can go independent if they want. 

Two weeks in a row I have rooted for Notre Dame.
Made me sick to do so, but I do what I do. (LOL.)

They are using the ACC to be able to get into the playoffs, and NCAA March Madness, plus the fact they do not have to share their profit from NBC and now getting to keep all 20 million, just adds to the reason I hate them. If, the commissioner of the ACC had any guts he would tell them get in or get out. There's a reason the Big 10 did not agree to allow ND to do what the ACC is allowing them to do.

There's too much money to be made - not to mention exposure - playing the Irish in regular season games for teams to do this.

The reason the ACC doesn't do that is that the Irish would laugh in their face.  The ACC won't exist once its grant of rights deal collapses or schools find a way out of it.  The name may be around but it won't have the same cache.
