fanofhoops Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Green pulls out a win over a scary Caverna team. Green County moves to 12-1 on the year. 1
mcpapa Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Caverna has a nice squad over in the 5th this year that nobody knows about. No pushover this season. And primarily junior-laden.
LethalPG Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Whoever doesn't get the 1 seed (Larue, Green or Caverna) will have a dog fight in the 2/3 game.
ApolloFan98 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Why in the world did Caverna move on from Steve Barker? He went 17-11, won the All-A Region last year and seemed to be building something decent with the program. They have had some injuries but have clearly taken a step back this year so far.
fanofhoops Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 Caverna’s first 5 are very solid. Above average defensively. The Colonels are under appreciated right now because of their record but make no mistake, they are tough!

I thought Barker did an excellent job with them last year. Caverna probably have the best starting 5 in the region IMO.
slowmobster Posted January 9 Posted January 9 5th Region tournament is going to be fun this year. but that 18th district with Green, Larue, and Caverna...one of the top 3 teams in the 5th region isn't making it past district.
