BigDP

He lived in Florence/Union went to Cov Cath (sister went to NDA), he moved to Ft. Thomas, he now goes to Highlands.

Once again, footballfan18 thinks he is in the know...... Once again, footballfan18 is completely WRONG! Come on footballfan18, you are better than this!

The more Hendrix has the ball in his hands the better off Cooper will be. The kid is a playmaker. I give him the edge.

Very sad day today with the news of Brother Bill passing away. Mark and the Whery family will definitely be in my families prayers. Heaven got a good one today!

According to one........ Get your facts staright lol

I like Meyer being on the court. Hopefully, he gets a shot at running the point on varsity next year. I thought he did a good job at PG for JV. Kid has a big upside, looks like he is about 6'2" and still growing. Does he play football? What position?

Awesome for Cole.

Wow, InItToWinIt, are you breaking some news here? Where did you hear this?

I agree 100% KyBigHorns! Having known a couple young men that played for both Coach Listerman and Coach Ruthsatz at Cov Cath, they told me it was night and day difference playing for Ruthsatz as opposed to Listerman. I can tell you for a fact that they loved their time playing for Coach Ruthsatz and not so much for Listerman. In my opinion, there are two sides to Coach Listerman, first is the man, and a good man at that (off the court) and then there is the coach. The 'Coach' Listerman leaves a lot to be desired and it continues to show through with his behavior on the Holmes bench when Holmes plays against Cov Cath.

And Dixie, Campbell Co and Ryle each get two players...... It must have been the coaching MentschoikkemoiweijkhklioedodwksifmdmodaoifLacht! All very good players listed.... In DII, NCC got 4!

Bluedad - When does 'spring practice' start? Is there a spring game? If so, do you know when?

To me, Ruthsatz and McDonald are 1 and 1a. You can't go wrong with either option. Just my opinion, however, I would defer to the senior, all things being equal. The intangibles they both bring to the game separate them from their competition.

Agreed, however, I think since he is a junior he will have to wait a year for his POY. That and the fact Ruthsatz has had an incredible year. Ruthsatz will be POY this year (McDonald runner up) McDonald will be POY next year.

I like seeing Putoff with 9 points. Kid keeps getting better and better.

This was the first Freshman Regional Tournament I have seen and BIG KUDOS to CCH for 'Doing it up right!'. Impressive tournament from start to finish and last night was definitely the icing on top of the cake. From the light show, to the smoke, to having just about ALL the coaches (exception Holmes who had a game) there to present the All Tournament Team awards to their players. It was very very impressive and CCH couldn't have attached a better name to the tournament than Mr. Jack Kaelin! Great Job to all involved!

Great kid from a great family! Congrats Zack! Well deserved!

Proving ground? Certainly you are not serious...... What are the Colonels now, 20-1 or something like that and they still need to prove themselves? They've already 'proved' themselves.

HB - wouldn't you want to see conclusive evidence and not inconclusive evidence? lol

VonHandorf's basket with less than a minute to go with the score tied was HUGE for the Colonels. Caught the ball on the left wing and very decisivley drove in for the left handed contested layup after Cooper had just tied the score. It was one of many big moments late in the game.....

Also, the Freshman Tournament game was last night as well at Cov Cath. I thought it was a pretty good turnout of students for the Cov Cath / Ryle freshman game. Hard to be in two places at once.....

Cooper DB/WR Aaron Morgan has committed to the University of the Cumberlands. Congratulations Aaron on continuing your football career at the next level. All the best to an incredible young man and a wonderful family!

Nice to see Lenhof, Flood and Sweeney getting some varsity playing time for CCH....

I thought when you said this is just like the CCH game they were only playing till halftime. Glad to see they are playing the second half...

How many shots did McDonald take? I understand it was a route...... but only 6 points? Does anyone have the shot attempts for McDonald, Moeves, Schulte, Weyer? Just curious why only six points for Big McD!

12 - 9 at the half? Must have been a defensive struggle. I like hearing Austin Neff was the leading scorer for NCC. The kid can shoot! Did Pangallo play for NCC? Moeves? How did they do?
