I think you will see him at a receiver or corner. The corner position I have heard is not very deep. Dressman also needs to QB the JV, like they did a couple of years back with Erpenbeck. Erpenbeck started a couple of games at LB his junior year, but also took almost all the JV QB snaps that year.

I have heard that coach R's son is still in school and will not be here till next, but am not 100%. Just from the little I read about him, he is the real deal.

That is correct. They lost to Taft in the quarterfinals. I talk to someone at Summit and says he is a really good coach. As a side note, his wife is a NDA girl.

Dixie played their first game on Wednesday and CovCath got snowed out on the Thursday, but I do not disagree with on the match up

It sounds like Dixie played pretty will this weekend, and are the team to beat in the 9th. But looking at the schedule and I may be wrong, but it looks like CovCath played 3 games within 24 hours.

CovCath and NewCath could not find a date to play, nothing to due with one team not wanting to play.

Man, I was looking forward to the bus trip to Bell Co. I would say Boone is at home, because they where looking for 5 and 5. I had heard Conner was on, then off but Boone was on. At the Cooper game Saturday I was told about Bell or DeSales and it would br away I do like the schedule, 1 GCL game with a team I believe they can beat.

As of last week they were still trying to fill week 8, which could be Desales or Bell Co. I was told there first game was against Dixie but the TOG posted it was Campbell Co. As others who attend the game have posted, this was a good one. Either team could have won the game. I believe CovCath was to passive in the first half, Holmes attacked the basket while CovCath passed the ball and passed up shots from the outside. Holmes is a fast team, but IMO CovCath was slow in getting back on defense leading to easy baskets. The second half CovCath became much more active, playing 1-3-1 zone they still contested every pass, leading to steals in the start of the third. Holmes won in the game in last 2 minutes, with CovCath up 3 60-57 CovCath fouls under the basket leading to a three point play. Then IMO CovCath took a couple of bad shots and had to foul and Holmes made their fouls shots. Again a very good basketball game both teams could win the region.
