First time I watched the Colonel's play and all I can say is WOW!. They played inside, outside, offense and defense. Take away the first five minutes of the 3rd and CovCath may have won by 50. The Baker kid may be the most underrated player in NKY.

I know a couple of former Div I-AA schools are looking at him.

Wirth had nothing to do with the schedule, it was in place when he was hired. The schedule will be better next year, St.X is replaced by Conner. When the schedule was put together to many people were looking at pay day's not want was best for the team, case in point Elder

Last week was first game of the year that CovCath was any where close to being health on the defensive side of the ball. Barring a let down, CovCath is better on the defensive side of the ball. Could be other shoot out, and who does not turn the ball over.

I also heard last week that both Dixie and Beechwood have dropped Highlands

Yes this was a fun game to watch, undecided until the last minute. This is the same team that lost in OT last year as 7th graders in the small school division championship game. This CovCath team has no want you call stud's on it, they play as team and play 20-22 kids. When they practice, their scout team could play or beat many teams. Many teams have talent that is a mile wide but a inch deep, this CovCath team has talent maybe three quarters of mile wide bit it is a foot deep. Turkeyfoot had only 3 or 4 kids touch the ball, CovCath had at least 7. I talked to the coaches and players after the game, and all said Turkeyfoot had run out of gas. Again congrats to both team, a great game and year.

Please read past posts. Dressman scores with 4:30 to go in 3rd quarter on there first series of the half. Rensing, their 3rd back scores one the last play of the 3rd. The TOG may know, were Bir and Pope out on the first drive of the second half. No Dressman needed the work, I would only agree with you if he played into the 4th.

Everyone must remember that Dressman and most of the CovCath's one's have not played in over two weeks.

Yes to a point, I am not saying Highlands is not a very good team, they are. I through it funny that he stated that Ryle would easily beat CovCath. I will also add that he said Highlands played there one's longer that CovCath did. So everyone should not be looking at scores to compare teams, we will find out on Wednesday.

Was talking to a Dixie freshman coach and he has played CovCath, Highlands and I believe Ryle. He said that Highlands was super and CovCath was a ok, nothing great. He also said Ryle would easily beat CovCath.

CovCath 8th 32 Woodland 12 CovCath also won the coin flip withTurkeyfoot to be the No1 seed in the north. CovCath win play Twenhofel in the first round next week.
