Beechwood 2011

Featured Replies

There seems to be a lot of discussion in other threads about next year for Beechwood so let's get it all in its own thread instead of hijacking other threads. So what does everyone think about 2011, the realigned district, new schedule, etc.?

Do we think the schedule will be something like this:

Dixie

Holmes

Cov Cath

Team from the south

Bellevue

Dayton

Ludlow

NCC

Holy Cross

Shouldnt there be one more?

Someone told me that Mason County could be in the mix and I also have heard Elizabethtown.

Dixie is the only toss up on that schedule. I believe that they are favored in the others, including Mason Co. if they get scheduled.

Sorry. I missed that Govnah didn't have Simon Kenton listed. I believe that is going to be Beechwood's opening game next season.

Cool. that that will eliminate going south to E-town. Beechwood will have to go to Dixie; what about Simon and Holmes? Are they home or away games?

CovCath will win by 2 or 3 td's.

Also think Dixie will win by 2 or 3 td's

Beechwood will have a cake walk in the district, but will not win state

As far as CC vs BW next year....CC lost alot more than BW this year, and I think BW Jr and Soph classes are stronger than CC. Although I would give this years CC Fr class the edge. That coupled with the close game between the schools this year, leads me to disagree with the first part of your post.

Dixie will be a great game...I think you cold make a argument for either team.

As for the third part of your post,,,yes cake walk through district...but have to say that it (State) is definiitely BW to lose.

No way.

No way.

Yes they will.

I believe they could beat Cov Cath, probably lose to Dixie, but run the NKY Class A district and SHOULD win state next season.

Beechwood returns their whole team almost.

You may want to get ready to start a new thread with a new title. LOL

I think E-town, MC, and Holmes replaced WV, BB, and HHS on the schedule and SK has replaced Boone as a scrimmage.

Of course, I will wait till I see it before I consider it in stone.

The Tigers should be the favorite next year in 1A with the return of Staten, both Nussbaum boys, Cruse, Vocke, and a very good junior to be class.

Good to see teams like Holmes back on their schedule.

I also like the SK match up as well.

You may want to get ready to start a new thread with a new title. LOL

I was afraid of that....
