Quick recap as I recall:

JV---Cov Cath beat Mt. Healthy handily

Cov Cath beat Holmes by 1

JV--Villa beat Lawrenceburg by close to 30

Villa beat Mariemount easily

Var--Princeton beat Holmes...close game till the last 5 minutes then Princeton pulled away

Var--Cov Cath beat Bethel Tate by 33

McNick beat Cov Cath in a close one....Cov Cath had to play back to back (pretty sure it was McNick but unis said Rockets)

Yikes. I guess I'm going to need to bone up on the CCH roster. I have no clue who the kids are in the first two pics.

I was thinking the same thing! But then I figured the baseball guys probably are not back, and there could be a number of guys who did not make it last year so...... Going to be an exciting year I think. From all I have heard Coach was been running a very organized tight ship.

BTW Thanks paNDA for the pictures. Great as always.

Pretty clear there is going to be a lot of competition for playing spots. CCH hustled for 80 straight minutes. Four minutes between games and two 2 minute halves. It was a brutal pace.

The kid in the first picture is Ryan Hayden. He will be a senior this year. He got a little PT last year. I think the other kid is coach Ruthsatz son, and if i am correct he will be a freshman and is a pretty good ball player.

I have heard that coach R's son is still in school and will not be here till next, but am not 100%.

Just from the little I read about him, he is the real deal.

No, the kid in the 2nd picture is Joe Schaefer, who will be a junior. Also, Coach Ruthsatz's son will be a sophomore.

Thought I remember reading somewhere that coach was going to reclassify his son and have him repeat his frosh season.

What are the dates and times of the NKU camps?

I think they are now finished. You missed it!

I think there are actually still sessions on Friday nite and Saturday morning, but not sure what teams are participating. I do not think Cov Cath is going to those two based on information I rec'd.

I didn't recognize Hayden. I liked the little I a saw of him last season. I think he can be a contributor .

From what I gather that is not the case.
