Steve Lickert. Congrats Coach Lickert!

What does this mean for the Camels?

Congrats to Coach Lickert!

Was reading on the enquirer blog page where there were several Campbell County people extremely unhappy about this hire.

My question...why?!?

Coach Lickert is a very good young coach and has won at every level as a player and coach both on and off the field.

Probably because he is a Highlands grad..

Good for Coach Lickert. Back in November I said he was leaving but said it would be to Boone County. Boone's lose is a huge gain for Campbell County and his first contest will be against CovCath in week -0- at Campbell County, hopefully in the new Campbell County Football complex!

Well at least he doesn't have to worry about Highlands now... but he does have to worry about Ryle, Dixie, Boone, and SK. Wish him the best of luck.

Because people always have to complain about something in Camel land.

Because people always have to complain about something in Camel land.

Isn't that the truth!!!!!!

I think a lot of people wanted Mark Perry from Washington County so they want to moan and groan instead of getting behind their new coach...

Congrats to Steve!!! Fine young man who did wonders at both Dayton and Holmes.

Wish you the BEST!

Congrats Mr. Lickert.. I know you will do a great job if the admin allows you too.. Good Luck!!

Hopefully this is a small group, and the rest of the Camel faithful will give Coach Lickert the support he deserves. I have no doubt that he will do everything in his power to take their program to the next level. They are fortunate to have him. Congratulations, Coach Lickert!

I agree with you, but it seems there are quite a few people who are NEVER satisfied with what happens in athletics at Campbell County. Instead of supporting the Coach Lickert they want to complain about him even though some of the comments on the blog are wrong people will say whatever to get a rise out of people. It gets old really fast.

Probably because he is a Highlands grad..

They won't admit it, but I you are dead on. From the people I talked with, some out there absolutely hate HHS guys and the program they came from. To each their own. Hopefully, they locals give him a chance to show what he can do. Congrats Coach Lickert!
