Is the Junior/Senior game open to public? I'd like to see the best talent Kentucky has to offer at the high school lesson.

I wouldn't go that far. I still think NCC has to be the favorite with the players they return.

I know St. Henry loses Speed. If I remember correctly, they had a lot of seniors on last years squad. Newport will return a lot but loses Darnell. They will be very similar to what they were last year, up and down.

Where will the try outs take place? Lexington?

The All "A" draw is pretty early this year isn't it? Is it this way state wide?

Congrats JaMel and Brandon. Hit the books and success will follow on the court for the both of you. Cincinnati State is becoming Holmes North, and that's not a bad thing.

If Beechwood were to win, when was the last time Beechwood swept Cov. Cath. in the big 3 sports? (football, basketball, and baseball) I'm sure Covington Catholic has done it to Beechwood numerous times, but how about about the last time the Tigers did it?

What about sending the JV team to play St. Henry and Silver Grove so the Varsity can play Friday for seeding?

I would assume Kyle is Joe's younger brother. That family has produced some nice athletes through the years. I know the basketball team didnt have any football kids this year, will they have any next season?

Not really, just allowing people to play pretend AD for their school. Often times there is an assistant or alum that has been around a program for a long time. I thought this thread might inform others of canidates in the near or distant future.

If your schools coach took another position (use imagination), who would be the favorite to fill the position? Current staff member? Outsider? Former Alum?

Thomas More is getting a steal. Chelsea is one heck of a player. I could see her getting a healthy amount of minutes right away for a program that just keeps improving every year!

The way I read into it looked as if the transfers came in for basketball reasons. If that is not the case, then there is obviously nothing wrong with the scenario.

I think that Highlands team could be comparable to the Central team this year with the big boys down low. I could see J Load and Smith getting Pittman in foul trouble, but the guards for Holmes being the difference makers.

I saw both teams and I agree that CC would have won. With that being said, who cares? There are so many if, ands, or buts throughout the 9th region tournament. What if NCC doesn't hit their last second shot? What if Conner doesn't blow it at the end against Ryle? What if Romas doesn't get hurt for Beechwood? What if Highland's football players play this year? What if Mitch Shover isn't sick all season for Cov. Cath? With all the scenarios, I still see Holmes winning the 9th.:notworthy:

I could also see the 8th grader McClendon leap froging Mayfield for playing time. From what I hear, he was a major player for the JV this year.
