  1. I believe Holmes lost to AB Combs. Not sure about the score. I wasn't overally impressed with Holmes when I watched a little of their game on Friday night. Granted I only saw a few quarters but they did'nt shot the ball very well.
  2. It was in fact Conner from the Boone County school systems.
  3. Kind of surprising to see AB Combs make it to the final 8 if in fact that they did. They had a nice team but not final 8 quality. Of the teams that I saw play, Wayne County was very impressive as well as Johnson County. Hoptown looked pretty good also. IMO, unless you have SEVERAL holdbacks it would be very difficult to compete in this tournament.
  4. Sounds like Coach Wright has had the ref's on his side for a while based upon what everyone is saying. I'm sure he's thankful because of that or else his teams would have to rely on hard work and determination to get by. Who would want to have to do that?
  5. As of 7:00 p.m. last night, Ockerman had already been marked on the board with a loss. They were not scheduled to play until 8:30 p.m. so apparently they did call ahead and let someone know that they would not be playing otherwise they would not have been already marked off. I wouldn't know how far in advance they called but it was at least before 7:00 p.m.
  6. Final from Walton. Boys game has been called off because of weather. Congrates to the Ladycats. :thumb:
  7. Not to be rude or offend anyone...but.....I don't think that it is anyone's business why they did not play. Obviously there was a reason. That was a decision that was made by Coach Miller. He must have thought that it was a good enough reason for them to get some bench time. Whatever happened to the old saying "what happens in the locker room stays in the locker room". Not everyone is going to agree with the decision that is made but it was made. Coach Miller has done an outstanding job. They have a bigger picture that they are shooting for and it is a very possible one. :thumb:
  8. Have definately lost to a couple teams that we should have beat. I am sure like most teams they have the Jekyl and Hyde syndrome. Our kids play hard but they are kids and they will have bad nights. Thanks for everyones support down at the ALL A. The crowds were huge for both the boys and the girls. We by far had the most fans of any team there that I seen.
  9. No excuses GATOR....We played a good game and like madman said took a couple bad shots, turned it over and Glasgow took care of business..no excuses. Glasgow is a nice team. Top 25 in the state. We knew going in that we would have our hands full and it would definately take the best game that we played all year to beat them.
  10. Walton gave Glasgow all they wanted. Nice game by Glasgow. Smart with 5 or so left taking the air out of the ball and making Walton foul and put them on the line. Good run by the Bearcats. How is the weather at home is Sawville where the GC wildcats are. :thumb:All it took was our best effort.
  11. They will definately have to limit Cameron Hall's looks. He is a very nice player. I don't see him scoring 34 today. Walton needs to get the ball inside to Burns and then let him kick it out for the open looks. They seems to play much better when this happens. Good luck to the Bearcats. WV 65 Glasgow 59 :thumb:
  12. Congrats to BB in making it to the All A once again. Coach Mike Code does an excellent job and is a CLASS ACT all the way. Brossart has a good one with Mike Code:thumb:
  13. What happened to Coach Garmon?
  14. http://www.allaclassic.org that will give you both the girls and boys brackets.
  15. Great job tonight by the Bearcats. Gallatin jumped out early with several three's but Walton didn't cave in. Congrats to Gallatin on a great effort and a great run in representing the 8th region at the All "A" State Tournament. Coach Jones does an excellent job.
  16. Congrats to the Bearcats for advancing. Williamstown controlled the game for three and a half quarters. WV needs to come ready to play in order to beat Gallatin County tomorrow night. It will certainly take WV's best effort against GC.
  17. McNeil gets a steal with 7 seconds left and drives for a layup.
  18. Any status on Sandlin? I think that the Ladycats take it easy tonight and get girls healthy. They have a chance to win a couple of games in Richmond if everyone is able to go. Good luck to the Cats tonight.
  19. 1. Jones - Gallatin 2. Faust - St. Henry 3. Henley - Holmes 4. Code - Brossart 5. Carr - Scott Hon. Mention: Listerman - Cov Cath, Hicks - Conner, Shumate - Beechwood
