How are Coach Garmon and the Redhounds doing this year?

Wouldn't you think that they both would see the hand writing on the wall?

Is Walton-Verona just that bad or is Boone that good?

The eye roll was for Walton's pitiful performance.

I'm trying to imply that at least the field looked nice. If you're a WV fan, a 16-4 ballgame wouldn't be any fun to watch so at least the field looked nice.:thumb:

I'm with you now. I can understand revisting or re-evaluating the districts ever four years. I just wasn't following HDE's comments about the districts having to be changed.

You obviously have an axe to grind for some reason with McNeil. Maybe he cut your son off a team? Maybe one of his teams beat one of yours? Maybe he's taller than you.....who knows. One thing though ...he does understand the game.

Wishful thinking. The Dad is not out plus his Mother teaches at Walton.

He may eventually end up with the job but I'm not sure how this statement is at all accurate. :confused:

My bad, apparently I was typing to fast. You're correct - Moss did with the 7th grade state and they had an excellent team. I believe Crosby was mentioned because they were the team that knocked Conner out of the tournament. Apparently there are a few people that seem to think that Conner was better than Walton even though Walton beat Conner twice. Conner had a good team but IMO, Walton would have beat them 9 out of 10 times.

IMO they wouldn't have lost to Crosby. Just because Conner couldn't handle Crosby's pressure doesn't mean that Walton wouldn't have. FYI......I was at state, so I'm not just throwing darts either. Three Rivers, IMO, is the only other 7th grade team in Northern Kentucky that would have played with Walton and i'm sure that would have been a good game.

Kyle stepped down to be the AD for Walton Verona. It would have been very difficult for him to do both.

What does that have to do with Walton hiring a new head coach? No - Walton's 7th grade team didn't win state nor did they make it to the final four. They realize that the season was a total failure because of it. Unfortunately all they did this year was go 31 -1 and ONLY make it to the round of 16 at 7th grade state. Oh and they were also, without a doubt, the best 7th grade team from Northern Kentucky.

What happened?

McNeil is an assistant varstiy coach. He has 3 sons in the program, 7th grade, 5th grade and 3rd grade.

IMO, Coach Wright would not be a good fit at Walton-Verona. He would be a big fish in a small pond. WV certainly has some talented classes coming up thru the elementary and middle schools but the total mass of talent isn't what Coach Wright is used to. If WV called Coach Wright I'm sure it was out of respect for him and his family. Dan Trame, if he indeed does accept the coaching position, would be an excellent hire for WV. There are several people though, that are not pleased with how this entire situation has been handled. IMO, Dan Sullivan should have been the logical choice for the head coaching position but yet he was never approached. IMO, that is ridiculous! Hopefully Coach Trame accepts the position soon and WV can get started on working toward the future.
