Why not? Of course this is just speculation on my part. The biggest issue with the 8th region is the distance between Simon Kenton and Walton with Spencer Co. I just thought you could take those 3 teams out and insert the 3 teams in Franklin Co. This also puts Simon Kenton and Walton back into the same region with all other Boone and Kenton county schools.

Neither would Western Hills or Frankfort. This would be much better than the 11th.

Here I am Sports'nut' , you gotta be kidding....we just went through this a couple years back! I agree . It's a 'haul' for SK...an they gripe all the time...And I like the Frankfort schools addition. But, what about the poor Bullitt schools... I'm sure they'd take a longer drive, rather than put up with the mess their now in ( 6th region)...

I am a nut, that is a good description! I did them a favor and move them out of the 6th and into the 5th! Louisville is a seperate entity all to itself! I thought about putting Anderson Co with the Franklin Co schools and Shelby with the 3 Oldhams! But I thought that might look bad.

Wouldn't mind having the Franklin schools in the 8th...and, while we enjoy having SK and WV in the 8th, I'm sure they would prefer to be able to stay in NKY for their region tournaments...Adding the 3 Franklin Co. schools and getting rid of the two Boone County schools has some merit.

Your geographics are well thought out, but teams were just redistricted 4 years ago. I still don't see any changes coming from the KHSAA but I could be wrong.

sorry for the delay in responding. 32nd makes no sense to me. You have Grant and Williamstown, but you hop over Owen to pick up Gallatin and Carroll.

 

In 29 and 30, take Anderson and Trimble and switch them.

 

That's about it.
