It has been confirmed 100% that Danny Trame has accepted the Boys' Head Coaching position. There will be a definite announcement coming shortly.

Also, it has been confirmed that Danny's brother, Jeff Trame, will be the JV coach.

Congrats to Danny. Walton will be a sound Team, thats for sure.

Congrats to Danny and the WV Bearcats. He will get the most out of the boys.

Congrats to the Trame family!

Two very solid coaches, congrats to both the Trames.

Congrats to Coach Trame!!!!! We'll have him on the weekly show soon to talk about it!!!

Still some work to do Tiger but yes it looks like Danny Trame is Walton's new head coach. Congratulations Danny! Walton is certainly on solid ground.

Congrats!

Great news for Walton! The Trames are solid folks!

Hats off to you, Tiger, for being all over this one early.

I've always liked Jeff Trame's offensive sets.

Congrats Walton and good luck to the new coach.

Is Ballinger and McNeil out?

Im hearing otherwise. I hear he is the leading candidate still and will be offereed, but there are many variables as to why he would say no. His son goes to another northern kentucky school. He will not get to watch any of his games. This is all coming from someone within the school. So, is this 100% true kind of like it was a 100% sure that Billy Donavon was coming to KY two years ago.

I would say it is about 98%! I too am talking to people directly involved and they are uncertain as to what may or may not happen at this point. They are telling me that they are simply going to let this thing play itself out and not jump the gun. We posters should do the same. I commend Walton for their attempt to keep rumors and speculation from running rampid.

He may eventually end up with the job but I'm not sure how this statement is at all accurate.
