Ladycats dominate from the start.

WV led 19-4 after the 1st quarter and continued to build their lead throughout the game. All 11 players saw action and 9 of them scored. Congrats to the Ladycats and good luck on Friday.

Owsley County's two leading scorers, Peyton Wright and Mika Turner, were held in check by WV. They couldn't get anything going, and WV doubled them and hounded the ball handlers all night. Those two do most of the work for the Lady Owls, averaging over 40 ppg combined. WV did a good job on them. Owsley doesn't have much depth either (9 girls on the team) and they wore down quite a bit during the game.

WV has a very nice team. Very impressed with their 3 point shooting and defense.

Game against Grant Co. has been rescheduled. The Lady Bearcats stayed in Richmond to support the boys. The Lady Bearcats play Friday at 1:00 against Murray.
