Take away the talent and his assistants at Holmes and I might be able to give you a better read on Henley. I think he knows his stuff and played the game but he does have exceptional talent and also a tremendous staff.

I am a fan of Henley's. It is important to remember that aside from x's and o's, he faces much different challenges than most coaches in NKY.

True dat and that is where his assistants come into play also. I known of one specifically that puts a ton of time in with the kids outside of school. They definitely have a great recipe of coaches down there.

That is why he is my #1. I think being a coach is more than just x's and o's without a doubt. Especially with the uphill battle that some of those boys climb.

Henley. He has had talent year after year and has finally put it all together to make runs at a state championship. Not only does has he had a good run the past few years but I believe that he is in the midst of a dynasty and will continue to put Holmes at the top of the region every year.

I think it is hard not to pick a coach from a small school. I think there are talented coaches all over Northern Kentucky. but if a big school wins it is "because they have a large talent pool to pick from". If a small school wins it is "because of the coach".

But when a small school coach wins consistently it says a lot about the coach and the program. That being said I flipped a coin between Code and Faust.

Not even a top ten coach... I watch them play Seneca. Highlands came out in 2-3 zone. Seneca dropped 8 out of 13 shots from three point

land in the first half.

Went in at half-time and made no adjustments... came out in a 2-3 and lost the game. And absolutely quit coaching against Newport. I quess he used the excuse that two starters were missing and another was playing at 50%.

Give me a break NO WAY a top coach in this region
