Live footage of flooding, tsunami are presently being broadcast on Fox News, people are literally running for their lives, some of the most dramatic footage ever on TV

Factories are on fire, farmland homes, cars being washed away

This is a Major disaster taking place on live TV, Hawaii may be on alert

Supposedly 20 ft Tsunami and aftershock 2hrs later. They say Russia will get hit. Good chance Hawaii and possibly the left coast here.

Watching people running down road getting overtaken by water was just numbing

I've been talking to a good friend of mine on Facebook,this morning who lives in Japan. He said it was crazy but he and his family are ok. The company I work for headquarters is in Tokyo and we also have 5 other factories there. He said one of the factories was evacuated and at the HQ people were really shaken but he hasn't heard of any injuries at either place.

He just told me that he was far away from the massive tsunami. Also that some of the coastal roads to one of our factories are closed.

I will give updates when I get them. I'm sorry but I have to get ready for work.

WOW! A 8.9! The worse quake in Japan in 140 years, and the 7th worse quake ever recorded in the world. AMAZING that you can have a "great quake" and buildings in Japan are not effected too much. I don't think we will be that lucky in the US.

My plant manager was showing me that some of the aftershocks are almost as powerful. He can't get intouch with his family. His house is near the southeast coast of Japan. Near our Kanbara factory. I know that some of the coastal roads near there have been closed. I can't imagine what he is going through right now. Not being able to get in touch with his family.
