Hatton was great again tonight, very surprised he didnt take the last shot tonight! Hopefully Johnson's knee continues to get stronger, as his knee strengthens, Woodford only gets better. Would love to see Woodford get another shot at Scott County tomorrow night.

I've said it all year- Woodford County is my dark horse team. I loved the way they played, even without Jay Johnson. I need to get out and see them now that he's back.

Couldn't agree more on Hatton and the last shot. He had ball in hands with 10 seconds left and coach took timeout and they couldn't get it back to him. Hindsight is 20/20 but I am sure he wants that timeout back. They were down 1 at the time and Woodford couldn't keep him out of the lane.

Woodford County, which trailed by nine early in the fourth quarter, rallied to take the lead on Eli Boggess' three-pointer with 29 seconds left and held on for a 73-70 victory in the semifinals against Dixie Heights, ranked 10th in Dave Cantrall's Rating the State.

The Yellowjackets' David Greenwell led the way with 24 points. Jay Johnson had 15 and Boggess finished with 14. Brandon Hatton scored 26 points for the Colonels.
