A lot depends on how the game goes and how close it is. I think CCH can lose to Lasalle and still be good enough to beat Highlands. If CCH gets pasted, then I have my doubts that they are good enough to beat Highlands. I still wouldn't say no way. The GCL is a different animal, even if Lasalle is one of the weaker members. Put another way, if Highlands played any of the GCL south teams including Lasalle, I would not say Highlands is a lock to win.

Do we know how Lasalle compares to Highlands? So how can this game tell us anything?

What we know is so far CCH's opponents have been terrible so we can't possibly know how good they are yet.

We do know that CCH's D was scored on 4 times in the 1st half against Dixie. Highlands was scored on once, but Seth Bruns was out and Cohorn hurt. Doesn't tell us much, IMO.

Obviously some feel they know how good they are by ranking them the 2nd best 4a team in the state.

Good point but at the same time the difference between the 1st ranked team in 4A and all the rest in 4A is a huge difference.

Since I root for a few teams I feel like I can put on my non-CCH hat to answer.

It certainly would not bode well for their chances at beating Highlands should they lose to LS.

CCH is constantly getting better but Highlands is at such a different level that it's going to take the cliched well-played/well-coached/no TOs/catch some breaks game to beat the machine that is Highlands football.
