LSURock...yes, T is the home team, since this year your side of the bracket is home team. And yes, general admission tickets.

General admission...but $7 if bought at school and $10 at the stadium. You might need that extra $3 for some hot choc.

This may be related to the University parking situation.

Also, this notice was posted on the UL student site, for those not planning on using the red lot.

I am so glad I don't have to worry about parking

This game will be closer than the one in Sept.

St.X 28

Trinity 14

You are right 86...T did score on the 1st team D one of the times, but it was after the 2nd team D allowed T to get inside X's 20. C.Walsh likes putting the 1st team back into the game to work on specific situations and also to challenge the D. I agree, T has improve since the last meeting and X's has to bring their A-game, but I also believe X has improved just as much. They had a couple of lapses in the JH game, but they survived. What I like from that outcome is you saw a more focused group of Def. backs in the WC game against a team with almost the same talent on offense. This new focus and coaches have sometime to make corrections will be a big plus (example, last years Moeller game, big turn around on defense). I want to give the X's coaching staff an overdue "pat on the back", I believe they are one of the best, if not the best, at making halftime corrections and adjustments (another example, 1999 Hoptown game). I see a different game this time, it will be closer, but I still see X winning 27 - 14.

As for the comment about C. Walsh being worried...I known C. Walsh for years, he probably said that to ease your pain from the loss.

As for c walsh not hurting my feelings , I don,t think so I've known him quite a while myself we graduated the same year from our respective schools and his name is not c its Todd so maybe I've known him a little longer thank you for your thoughts though

Don't really care. Would rather watch a good college game. However the X-men will walk in this one. Will be there earlier though to watch a good high scholl game in the 3A.

Crystal ball is still charging, but here are a few thoughts on the game.... St. X has to be feeling the pressure. An undefeated season, not done since my days on Poplar Level. Good wins over good teams.... could all be topped with whipped cream and a cherry if they win. Could be disaster if they lose. Would anybody really remember the wins???? For Trinity it would be the ultimate Rocky comeback. To come back and knock out the champ after the Clubber Lang beating they took a few weeks ago... would be Hollywood movie material! ... stay tuned...

The sour grapes are unwarranted, if you don't care about the game don't commment.

^ P.S. Dear Daddypet........ there is no game earlier.

You can show up if you wish...

If you show up earlier you can help stock the concession stands and clean the restrooms. The 3A game is the next day.

Actually I take this as a compliment to Trinity and X. Daddypete is comparing T and X to a college game (albeit not a "good college game") as opposed to 3A being referred to as a high school game.

As far as the prediction, didn't you pick Henry Clay to win big over the Rocks? How did that work out for you?

The "ha ha ha- you were wrong" routine has no place in this forum. Enjoy your win and your upcoming state game and don't bring up old information that no one is talking about currently (HC-THS). That is a bit childish, IMO.

Trinity has gotten better making some changes as the year has gone on. The style of play that X has is just too much for this group of Rocks. They have gotten better alos. I know Trinity has improved but you do not get bigger and stringer during the season and that is why X whipped them the first time and last year for that matter. This is not the Trinity team you guys played for and they play with much more finess now. Shall I say somewhat Mumme. X will punch them in the mouth again. X 28-14

Maybe not bigger and stronger BUT smarter. You do need some brains to play this game. X players will walk on the field Friday night with a chip, as they should, but the ROCKS plan on knocking it off. This game will be totally different than the first game. If I recall correctly, the ROCKS hurt Anderson the first game and he was out a few weeks, correct. Being hit in 30 degree weather hurts alot more. Hmmmmmm GO ROCKS>>>>>
