I think it comes down to whether Trinity has the ability to stop the run, and their commitment to running the ball when they have it, even if they go down a score or two early.

This is how Trinity can keep it close.

They need to Listen to 02Ram54 & Clubberlang, they know what they are talking about.

You guys keep saying that Trinity did not score on your best players I think that they did score on your first team atleast once, But Iknow that does not make up 32 points. The first half of that game Trinity was right there they were only down14 at half that first drive of the second half ST.X had took the wind out of Trinity's sails (well what was left),A couple of plays and this game could have been different. I talked to Todd Walsh (st.x def. coach) after the game he told me that he was worried at half ,Then of course you have to play two halfs. I think Trinity has improved alot the last 9 weeks and I think they can make up the difference in points since their last meeting. If Trinity keeps its composier ST.X 's secondary is not the best and maybe we can exploite that a little better this time. I say T 31 X 27

I agree that this game should be a little closer, but you are wrong about the X Secondary. They are Very Good, one of the better groups X has had in several years.

I just hope we can keep it close.

It will be close, there is no way t will play as bad as in Sept and

I feel our secondary and pass rush are a step slow

however even w/ brohm t never scored like X has the last 2 times vs t

tigers by 7, good luck to your brother, he should be a factor

1st team, 2nd team, 3rd team etc.it really doesn't matter at this point. Lets just admit that the Tigers gave us a good old fashioned whuppin'. I hope the Rocks come ready to play and make a game of it. By all counts the Tigers should be a heavy favorite, rightly so. But it is the final game of the season and no matter who you played to get here, your team has done what it takes to win week after week. I've just got a feeling that the Rocks have come together since september and if the Tigers hand the Rocks a few breaks and the Rocks are within striking distance at the end... Well who knows.

You are right 86...T did score on the 1st team D one of the times, but it was after the 2nd team D allowed T to get inside X's 20. C.Walsh likes putting the 1st team back into the game to work on specific situations and also to challenge the D. I agree, T has improve since the last meeting and X's has to bring their A-game, but I also believe X has improved just as much. They had a couple of lapses in the JH game, but they survived. What I like from that outcome is you saw a more focused group of Def. backs in the WC game against a team with almost the same talent on offense. This new focus and coaches have sometime to make corrections will be a big plus (example, last years Moeller game, big turn around on defense). I want to give the X's coaching staff an overdue "pat on the back", I believe they are one of the best, if not the best, at making halftime corrections and adjustments (another example, 1999 Hoptown game). I see a different game this time, it will be closer, but I still see X winning 27 - 14.

As for the comment about C. Walsh being worried...I known C. Walsh for years, he probably said that to ease your pain from the loss.

I am assuming that since X was the home team last year vs. scott County, the rocks will be the home team this year. Anyone know for sure? I understand that all games are general admission, no reserved seats. Yes/No?

LSURock...yes, T is the home team, since this year your side of the bracket is home team. And yes, general admission tickets.

Game of the week: Friday, Louisville schools Trinity (12-2) and St. Xavier (14-0) meet for Kentucky's Class 4A state championship at Louisville's Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. St. Xavier won the regular season matchup 48-16 on Sept. 23.

Pretty cool.

Pretty cool.

I can't hear that enough, :ylsuper: to bad it means nothing without a victory Friday

Go Tigers

The bad news is that the gates will open at 6:30 for the 7:30 kickoff. So 20,000 plus will cram in the stadium in a very short time. Great Call KHSAA!

Is THE Guru doing pix?

This may be related to the University parking situation.

Also, this notice was posted on the UL student site, for those not planning on using the red lot.

The Athletic Department will be replacing the fence along the east side of Brook St south of Eastern Pkwy. beginning this Thursday and completing by Monday, December 5, 2005. This will impact green permit parking on the east side of Brook St., the green parking in the parking lot by Ky. Manufacturing and the Blue Faculty/Staff just south of Eastern Pkwy. Signs will be posted onsite advising what areas will be closed during this time.

Alternate parking is available on Floyd St. south of Eastern Pkwy.
